4. Setup and Assembly

Assembly of this bunk bed is required. It is recommended that two adults perform the assembly. Please follow the step-by-step instructions provided in the separate assembly guide included in your package.

4.1 Preparation

• Clear a spacious area for assembly.
• Lay out all parts and hardware, organizing them by their labels.
• Ensure you have the necessary tools. While Allen keys are provided, an Allen key attachment for a power drill can expedite the process.

4.2 Assembly Steps

1. Begin by assembling the main bed frames (upper and lower).
2. Attach the staircase structure, ensuring the storage compartments are correctly oriented.
3. Install the safety guardrails on the upper bunk.
4. Assemble and attach the slide to the designated position. The slide can be stored on the left side of the bed when not in use.
5. Insert the bed slats into both the upper and lower bunks.
6. Assemble and slide the two storage drawers under the lower bunk.
7. Periodically check that all screws and bolts are tightened during assembly to ensure structural integrity.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Using the Beds

• The bunk bed accommodates two twin-sized mattresses.
• Ensure mattresses are no thicker than 6 inches for both upper and lower bunks to maintain safety rail effectiveness.
• The maximum weight capacity for each bed is 300 pounds.

5.2 Using the Slide

• The slide is designed for recreational use. Always ensure adult supervision when children are using the slide.
• Ensure the area around the slide is clear of obstructions.
• The slide can be stored on the left side of the bed when not in use to save space.

5.3 Storage Features

• The staircase features three built-in storage compartments, ideal for books, small toys, or personal items.
• Two large drawers are located beneath the lower bunk, providing ample space for bedding, clothes, or larger toys.
