4. Setup Instructions

4.1 Inserting the Switch Console

1. Ensure the console latch on the back of the controller is in the unlocked position.
2. Carefully slide your Nintendo Switch 2 console into the central slot of the JC400 controller. Ensure it is seated firmly.
3. Push the console latch to the locked position to secure the console.

4.2 Connecting the Controller & Activating Wake-Up Function

The JC400 controller connects wirelessly to your Switch 2 console. For the wake-up function to work, an initial setup is required using your original Switch 2 Joy-Con controllers.

1. With original Joy-Con controllers connected, navigate to Settings > Controllers > Change Grip/Order on your Switch 2 console.
2. Press and hold the HOME button on the JC400 controller for 3 seconds until controller icons appear on the screen.
3. To activate the wake-up function: Remove the right Joy-Con for 1 second, then reattach it. This action registers the JC400 for wake-up functionality.
4. Once activated, a brief press (0.5 seconds) of the HOME button on the JC400 will instantly wake the console from sleep mode.
