3. Setup and Wearing

3.1 Initial Pairing

1. Take the earbuds out of the charging case.
2. Remove any protective film from the charging contacts inside the case and on the earbuds.
3. Place the earbuds back into the case and close it for a few seconds, then open it again.
4. On your smartphone or Bluetooth-enabled device, turn on Bluetooth.

3.2 Wearing the Earbuds

1. Identify the left (L) and right (R) earbuds.
2. Gently position each earbud against your outer ear, ensuring the speaker faces forward towards your ear canal.
3. Adjust the earbud up or down for a comfortable and secure fit. The flexible ear hook should rest behind your earlobe.
4. When worn correctly, the speaker sits in your ear, and the battery component rests behind it, with the button facing upward.

4.1 Touch Controls

The Monster Open Ear AC225 Earbuds feature intuitive touch controls for managing audio playback, calls, and voice assistants. The touch-sensitive area is located on the exterior of each earbud.

• Play/Pause: Tap the L/R earbud twice.
• Answer/End Call: Tap the L/R earbud twice.
• Reject Call: Press and hold the L/R earbud for 2 seconds.
• Volume Up: Tap the R earbud once.
• Volume Down: Tap the L earbud once.
• Next Song: Tap the R earbud three times.
• Previous Song: Tap the L earbud three times.
• Voice Assistant: Press and hold the L/R earbud for 2 seconds (when not on a call).

4.2 Call Functionality

The ENC-enhanced microphone reduces background noise, ensuring clear calls even in noisy environments.

5. Charging

The earbuds provide up to 8 hours of playback on a single charge, with the charging case extending total playtime to 36 hours.

• To charge the earbuds, place them into the charging case. The LED indicator on the case will show charging status.
