Setup

1. Powering the Main Unit

2. Installing Batteries in the Outdoor Sensor

  1. Open the battery compartment on the back of the wireless outdoor sensor.
  2. Insert two AAA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Close the battery compartment securely.

3. Pairing the Outdoor Sensor

The outdoor sensor will automatically attempt to pair with the main unit upon battery installation. Ensure the sensor is within range (typically up to 30 meters in open air) of the main unit. The outdoor temperature and humidity will appear on the main unit's display once paired.

4. Initial Clock and Date Setting (DCF)

The device features DCF radio-controlled time synchronization, which automatically sets the time and date. This process may take a few minutes or hours depending on signal strength. Place the unit near a window for better reception.

  • If the time does not synchronize automatically, you can set it manually by pressing and holding the MODE/CLOCK button. Use the SEL and VOL buttons to adjust values.

Operating Instructions

1. Adjusting Display Brightness

Press the Brightness Button (usually indicated by a sun icon) on the top of the unit to cycle through 4 levels of backlight intensity.

2. FM Radio Operation

  1. Extend the telescopic antenna on the back of the unit for optimal reception.
  2. Press the MODE/CLOCK button repeatedly until 'FM' is displayed.
  3. Press and hold the SEL button to initiate an automatic station search. The radio will scan and save available stations.

3. Bluetooth Speaker Function

  1. Press the MODE/CLOCK button repeatedly until 'BT' (Bluetooth) is displayed. The Bluetooth indicator will flash, indicating pairing mode.
  2. On your smartphone or tablet, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select 'WS102TWH' from the list of devices. Once connected, the Bluetooth indicator on the unit will stop flashing and remain solid.

4. Weather Station Display

The main unit continuously displays various weather data:

  • Forecast: Icons indicate sunny, partly cloudy, cloudy, rainy, etc.
  • Air Quality: Provides a general indication of air quality.
  • Pressure: Displays atmospheric pressure in hPa/mb.
  • Indoor/Outdoor Temperature & Humidity: Shows current readings. The outdoor sensor should be placed in a sheltered location away from direct sunlight and rain for accurate readings.
  • Moon Phases: The display cycles through different moon phase icons.

5. Alarm Clock Function

To set an alarm:

  1. In clock mode, press the MODE/CLOCK button once to enter alarm setting mode.
  2. Use the SEL and VOL buttons to set the desired alarm time.
  3. Press MODE/CLOCK again to confirm and activate the alarm. An alarm icon will appear on the display.
  4. To disable the alarm, repeat the steps and turn the alarm off.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Battery Replacement (Outdoor Sensor): When the battery indicator for the outdoor sensor appears on the main unit's display, replace the AAA batteries in the sensor.
