1. Introduction
This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your Yealink SIP-T74W Wi-Fi IP Phone. Designed for business professionals, the SIP-T74W offers advanced communication features, high-definition audio, and robust connectivity options including Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0.
2. Package Contents
Verify that all items listed below are present in your package:

Note: A power adapter is not included. The phone supports Power over Ethernet (PoE).
3. Physical Overview
Familiarize yourself with the components of your Yealink SIP-T74W IP Phone.

- A. 4.3-inch Color LCD Display: High-resolution screen for call information, menus, and status.
- B. Line Keys/Programmable Keys: Located on either side of the display, these keys can be configured for various functions such as line appearance, speed dial, or feature access.

4. Setup
- Attach the Stand:
Align the two tabs on the phone back stand with the corresponding slots on the back of the phone. Push firmly until it clicks into place. The stand offers 2 adjustable angles for optimal viewing.

- Connect the Handset:
Plug one end of the coiled handset cord into the handset port on the side of the phone unit and the other end into the handset.
- Connect to Network (PoE):
Connect one end of the provided Ethernet cable to the Internet port (LAN) on the back of the phone and the other end to a Power over Ethernet (PoE) enabled switch or injector. The phone will power on automatically.
If PoE is not available, a separate 5V/2A DC power adapter (not included) must be used. Connect the power adapter to the DC5V port on the back of the phone and then to a power outlet.
- Connect to PC (Optional):
If you wish to connect a computer through the phone, connect an Ethernet cable from the PC port on the back of the phone to your computer's Ethernet port.
- Initial Boot-up:
Once powered, the phone will boot up. This process may take a few minutes. The display will show the Yealink logo, followed by network configuration and SIP registration status.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Basic Call Functions
- Making a Call:
Pick up the handset, press the Speakerphone key, or press a Line key. Dial the number using the keypad and press the Send soft key or wait for a few seconds.
- Answering a Call:
Pick up the handset, press the Speakerphone key, or press the flashing Line key.
- Ending a Call:
Replace the handset, or press the Speakerphone key if using speakerphone mode.
- Mute/Unmute:
Press the Mute key during a call to mute your microphone. Press it again to unmute.
- Volume Adjustment:
Press the Volume keys (up/down) during a call to adjust handset, headset, or speakerphone volume. Press them when idle to adjust ringer volume.
5.2 Advanced Features
- SIP Accounts:
The phone supports up to 16 SIP accounts. Configuration is typically handled by your system administrator. Account status is displayed on the LCD screen.
- Wi-Fi Connectivity:
The SIP-T74W supports dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (2.4G/5G). To connect to a Wi-Fi network, navigate to Menu > Basic > Wi-Fi on the phone's display. Select your desired network and enter the password if prompted.
- Bluetooth 5.0:
To pair a Bluetooth headset or other device, go to Menu > Basic > Bluetooth. Enable Bluetooth, search for devices, and select your device to pair.
- Expansion Modules:
The phone supports color-screen expansion modules (sold separately) for additional programmable keys. Refer to the expansion module's manual for installation and configuration.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning:
Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the phone's surface. For stubborn marks, a slightly damp cloth with mild, non-abrasive cleaner can be used. Avoid excessive moisture and harsh chemicals.

Operate the phone within recommended temperature and humidity ranges. Avoid direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and dusty environments.
