3. Setup and Installation

Proper installation is crucial for the optimal performance and longevity of your ice maker. Follow these steps carefully.

3.1 Unpacking and Accessory Check

  1. Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging.
  2. Check all accessories against the packing list to ensure completeness.

3.2 Leveling the Appliance

  1. Locate the four adjustable feet at the bottom of the ice maker.
  2. Turn the feet clockwise or counter-clockwise to adjust the height and ensure the unit is stable and level.

3.3 Water Connection

  1. Connect the drain pipe to the water outlet at the back of the machine and secure it tightly. Ensure the other end of the drain pipe is inserted into a sewer pipe or suitable drainage system.
  2. Insert one end of the water filter into the water inlet of the machine. Ensure it is inserted tightly to prevent leaks.
  3. Connect the other end of the water filter to a cold water faucet.
  4. Mount the water filter securely using the provided slot or bracket.

3.4 Initial Preparation

  1. Remove any protective tape or packaging materials from inside the ice storage bin and around the ice-making components.
  2. Hang the stainless steel ice scoop properly inside the storage bin for easy access.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Control Panel Overview

  • On/Off Button: Powers the machine on or off.

4.2 Initial Power On and Standby

  1. Insert the power plug into a suitable electrical socket.
  2. The machine will power on and enter standby state. The "Ice-making" light may flash.

4.3 Ice Making Process

  1. Press the On/Off button to start the ice-making cycle. The "Ice-making" indicator will illuminate.
  2. The machine will automatically fill with water and begin the ice production process.
  3. Ice cubes will be harvested and dropped into the storage bin once formed.
  4. The "Full" indicator will light up when the ice storage bin is full, and the machine will pause ice production.

4.4 Adjusting Ice Thickness

You can adjust the thickness of the ice cubes to suit your preference.

  • Use the '+' button to increase ice thickness (longer freezing time).
  • Use the '-' button to decrease ice thickness (shorter freezing time).
  • Thinner ice is typically produced in 7 minutes, medium in 11 minutes, and thick in 14 minutes.

4.5 Timer Function

The 24-hour timer allows you to schedule when the ice maker starts or stops.

  • Press the Timer button.
  • Use the '+' and '-' buttons to set the desired time.
  • The timer can be used to delay the start of ice making or to set a duration for operation.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning
