4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Device

  1. Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the device's Type-C port.
  2. Plug the other end of the cable into a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  3. The device will indicate charging status on the screen. Ensure the device is fully charged before first use.

4.2 Power On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the side power button for approximately 3 seconds until the screen illuminates.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the side power button until a power-off menu appears on the screen. Select 'Power Off'.
  • To Lock/Unlock Screen: Briefly press the power button.

4.3 Initial Setup and Wi-Fi Connection

  1. Upon first power-on, follow the on-screen prompts to select your language and region.
  2. Connect to a Wi-Fi network: Go to Settings > Network & internet > Wi-Fi. Select your network and enter the password. The device supports dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz & 5GHz).
  3. Sign in with your Google account to sync playlists, favorites, and subscriptions across devices and access the Google Play Store.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Navigation

  • Touchscreen: Tap to select, swipe to scroll, pinch to zoom (where applicable).
  • Home Button: Returns to the main home screen.
  • Back Button: Returns to the previous screen.

5.2 Music Playback

The device comes preloaded with several music streaming applications and supports local file playback.

  • Transferring Music: Connect the device to a computer using the Type-C cable and transfer audio files to the internal storage or microSD card.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Device not powering on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to a charger for at least 15 minutes before attempting to power on again.
  • Device unresponsive: If the device freezes, locate the reset pinhole on the back of the device (refer to Product Overview image) and gently press it with a thin object (e.g., a paperclip) to restart the device.
  • Cannot connect to Wi-Fi/Bluetooth: Ensure Wi-Fi/Bluetooth is enabled in settings. Try restarting the device and your router/Bluetooth accessory.
  • Apps crashing or slow performance: Close background applications. Clear app cache (Settings > Apps > [App Name] > Storage & cache > Clear cache). Ensure sufficient storage space is available.
  • No sound: Check volume levels. Ensure headphones are properly connected or Bluetooth device is paired and connected.
