1. Introduction and Overview

2. Package Contents and Assembly

Your VIPCOO S1 Electric Scooter arrives partially assembled. Carefully unpack all components and ensure everything is present before beginning assembly.

2.1 Package Contents:

  • S1 Electric Scooter (main unit)
  • Charger
  • Toolkit (Allen wrenches, screws)
  • Instruction Manual (this document)

2.2 Assembly Steps:

  1. Unboxing: Carefully remove the scooter and all accessories from the packaging. Remove all protective wrapping and foam.
  2. Attach Kickstand: Secure the kickstand to the designated mounting points on the scooter deck using the provided screws and Allen wrench.
  3. Install Handlebars: Insert the handlebar stem into the main shaft. Secure it by tightening the top bolt and the side clamp bolts with the appropriate Allen wrenches. Ensure the handlebars are straight and firmly attached.
  4. Connect Cables: Connect all visible electrical cables on the handlebars and stem. These are typically color-coded or uniquely shaped to prevent incorrect connections. Ensure all connections are secure.
  5. Attach Rear Fender: If the rear fender is not pre-installed, attach it to the rear wheel assembly using the provided screws.
  6. Final Check: Before riding, ensure all screws are tightened, cables are securely connected, and the folding mechanism is properly locked.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Powering On/Off and Display

To power on the scooter, press and hold the power button on the LCD display. The display will illuminate, showing battery life, current speed, mileage, and selected gear. To power off, press and hold the power button again.

3.2 Speed Modes

The S1 Electric Scooter features three adjustable speed modes to suit different riding conditions and preferences. These modes can be selected via the controls on the handlebars.

  • Mode 1: Approximately 9.5 MPH
  • Mode 2: Approximately 19 MPH

3.4 Folding Mechanism

The S1 Electric Scooter features a portable folding design for easy storage and transport. To fold, disengage the locking mechanism near the base of the handlebar stem and carefully fold the stem down towards the deck until it locks into place. Reverse the process to unfold.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Battery Charging

The 48V 15Ah battery provides a maximum range of 30 miles. Charging time is approximately 6-8 hours. Always use the provided charger and ensure the charging port is clean and dry before connecting. Do not overcharge the battery.

4.2 Tire Care
