Setup Instructions

1. Assembling the Tripod Stands

  1. Unfold the tripod legs until they are fully extended and stable.
  2. Adjust the height of the stand using the locking pin and knob to your desired level. Ensure the pin is securely engaged.
  3. Place the PA speaker onto the top pole of the stand. Ensure it is seated firmly.

2. Connecting Speakers

Connect the active speaker (with controls) to the passive speaker using the provided speaker cable. The passive speaker draws power and audio signal from the active unit.

3. Powering the System

  • AC Power: Connect the power cable to the active speaker's AC input and then to a standard electrical outlet.
  • Battery Power: The system features a built-in rechargeable battery. Ensure it is charged for portable use. The battery provides up to 8 hours of operation at 50% volume.

Operating Instructions

Control Panel Overview

Familiarize yourself with the control panel on the active speaker:

  • Volume Potentiometer: Adjusts the overall master volume.
  • External Audio Input: RCA inputs for external audio devices.
  • Treble/Bass Potentiometers: Adjusts the high and low frequencies of the main output.

1. Bluetooth Connection

  1. Turn on the PA system.
  2. Press the "Mode" button until "BT" or "Bluetooth" appears on the display.
  3. On your device (smartphone, tablet), enable Bluetooth and search for "Moukey MPA80".
  4. Select "Moukey MPA80" to pair. A confirmation sound will indicate successful pairing.
  5. Adjust volume on both your device and the PA system.

2. USB/TF Card Playback

  1. Insert a USB drive or TF card into the corresponding slot.
  2. The system will automatically switch to USB/TF mode and begin playing audio files. If not, press the "Mode" button to select.
  3. Use the control panel buttons or remote control to play/pause, skip tracks, and adjust volume.

3. AUX Input

  1. Connect your audio device to the AUX IN port using a 3.5mm audio cable.
  2. Press the "Mode" button until "AUX" appears on the display.
  3. Play audio from your connected device. Adjust volume on both the device and the PA system.

4. Microphone and Guitar Input

  1. Connect your wired microphone or guitar to the 1/4-inch "Mic In" or "Guitar In" ports.
  2. Adjust the individual microphone volume, treble, bass, echo, and delay controls as needed.
  3. Ensure the master volume is set appropriately.

5. Remote Control

The included remote control allows for convenient adjustment of volume, mode selection, track control, and EQ settings from a distance.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the speakers. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Battery Care: For optimal battery life, fully charge the system before first use. If storing for extended periods, charge the battery every 3 months to prevent deep discharge.
  • Storage: Store the PA system in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Ventilation: Ensure proper ventilation around the active speaker to prevent overheating. Do not block ventilation openings.

Troubleshooting

  • Reduce master volume or individual input volumes.
  • Lower the output volume from your audio source device.
  • Try a different audio cable or source device.
System overheating or unusual smell
  • Poor ventilation.
  • Internal malfunction.
  • Immediately turn off the unit and unplug it.
  • Ensure adequate space around the speaker for airflow.
  • Do not operate if an unusual smell or excessive heat persists. Contact customer support.
