- Optical: Connect one end of the digital optical cable to the OPTICAL port on the soundbar and the other end to the Optical Digital Audio Out port on your TV. This connection does not support Dolby Atmos.

5. 4K HDR Pass-Through

Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your ULTIMEA Skywave X60 system, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Keep the sound system clean by wiping surfaces with a soft, dry cloth.
- Avoid using liquid cleaners, abrasive materials, or solvents, as these can damage the finish.
- Ensure proper ventilation around all components to prevent overheating. Do not place the soundbar or speakers in enclosed spaces without adequate airflow.
- Do not block the speaker grilles, as this can affect sound quality and lead to overheating.
- Protect the system from extreme temperatures, humidity, and direct sunlight.
Troubleshooting
No Sound
- Check all cable connections (HDMI, Optical) to ensure they are securely plugged in.
- Ensure the correct input source is selected on the soundbar (e.g., HDMI eARC, Optical).
- Verify your TV's audio output settings are configured for external speakers (e.g., PCM or Bitstream, not TV speakers).
- Increase volume on both the soundbar and your TV.
Subwoofer/Surround Speakers Not Connecting
- Ensure all components (soundbar, subwoofer, surround speakers) are powered on.
- Check for any physical obstructions or strong interference sources (like Wi-Fi routers) between the soundbar and wireless speakers.
- If automatic pairing fails, manually re-pair the components. Refer to the full user manual for specific pairing instructions, which typically involve pressing a pairing button on the subwoofer/speakers and then on the soundbar.
Distorted Sound
- Reduce the volume to check if distortion is due to excessive loudness.
- Check the quality of your audio source. Low-quality audio can result in distortion.
- Ensure speaker placement is not causing reflections or interference.
Remote Control Not Working
- Check and replace the batteries (AAA batteries, not included).
- Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote control and the soundbar's sensor.
No Dolby Atmos
- Ensure your connection is via HDMI eARC. Dolby Atmos is not supported over Optical or Bluetooth.
- Verify that your TV and the content source (e.g., streaming app, Blu-ray player) both support Dolby Atmos.
- Check your TV's audio output settings to ensure Dolby Atmos or Bitstream is selected.
