1. Introduction

The NIMO Mini PC Desktop MPL1P is a compact yet powerful computing solution designed for various applications, from student use and home offices to multimedia and business environments. Featuring a 12th Gen Intel N100 Processor, 16GB DDR4 RAM, and a 1TB SSD, it offers efficient performance for multitasking and 4K triple-monitor display capabilities. This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting your device.

3. Product Overview

3.1. Physical Description

The NIMO Mini PC is designed for ultimate portability and space-saving elegance, measuring just 4.92 x 4.33 x 1.57 inches and weighing only 11.64 ounces. Its compact form factor allows it to fit easily in any bag, making it perfect for productivity anywhere.

3.2. Ports and Connectivity

The Mini PC offers advanced connectivity options to meet diverse needs, including multiple USB ports, HDMI, and a versatile USB Type-C port.

• Power Button: To turn the device on/off.
• Reset Button: For system reset.
• USB Type-A Ports: Four USB 3.0 ports for connecting peripherals.
• USB Type-C Port: One multi-function port for data transfer and display output.
• HDMI Ports: Two HDMI 2.0 ports for 4K display output.
• Gigabit LAN Port: For wired network connection.

4. Setup Guide

4.1. Initial Connection

1. Connect your monitor(s) to the HDMI and/or USB Type-C ports on the Mini PC.
2. Connect your keyboard and mouse to the available USB Type-A ports.
3. For wired internet, connect an Ethernet cable to the LAN port.
4. Plug the power adapter into the DC-IN port on the Mini PC, then plug the adapter into a power outlet.
5. Press the Power Button to turn on the Mini PC.

4.2. VESA Mount Installation (Optional)

The NIMO Mini PC can be mounted to the back of a compatible monitor using the included VESA mount for a clutter-free workspace.

1. Attach the VESA mount bracket to the back of your monitor using the provided screws.
2. Slide the Mini PC onto the mounted bracket until it securely locks into place.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Power On/Off

• Power On: Press the power button located on the side of the Mini PC.
• Power Off: Click the Start menu in Windows, then select Power > Shut down. Alternatively, press and hold the power button for 5 seconds.

5.2. Connecting Peripherals

Connect USB devices such as external hard drives, printers, or webcams to the available USB Type-A ports. For Bluetooth devices, ensure Bluetooth 5.2 is enabled in the operating system settings.

5.3. Triple-Monitor Display Setup

The Mini PC supports simultaneous triple-display output at 4K resolution via its two HDMI ports and one USB Type-C port.

1. Connect your primary monitor to HDMI 1.
2. Connect your secondary monitor to HDMI 2.
3. Connect your third monitor to the USB Type-C port (requires a compatible USB-C to DisplayPort/HDMI adapter if your monitor does not have a USB-C input).
4. Configure display settings within your operating system (e.g., Windows Display Settings) to extend or duplicate displays.

6. Storage and Memory Upgrade

The NIMO Mini PC allows for easy upgrades of its SSD storage and RAM. The device comes with 16GB DDR4 RAM and a 1TB SSD, but users can expand storage up to 512GB via the TF card slot.

6.1. Upgrading SSD/RAM

1. Power off the Mini PC and disconnect all cables.
2. Locate the access panel on the bottom of the device.
3. Carefully remove the screws securing the access panel.
4. Gently lift the panel to expose the SSD and RAM slots.
5. To replace the SSD or RAM, carefully unclip the existing module and insert the new one, ensuring it is properly seated.
6. Secure the access panel and screws.
7. Reconnect all cables and power on the device.

8. Troubleshooting

• No Display: Ensure all display cables (HDMI, USB-C) are securely connected to both the Mini PC and the monitor. Verify the monitor is set to the correct input source.
• No Power: Check that the power adapter is correctly plugged into the Mini PC and a working power outlet. Try a different outlet if necessary.
• Peripheral Not Detected: Try connecting the peripheral to a different USB port. Ensure drivers are up-to-date for specialized devices.
• Slow Performance: Close unnecessary applications. Check for available system updates. Consider upgrading RAM or SSD if performance issues persist after basic troubleshooting.
• Overheating: Ensure the Mini PC is placed in a well-ventilated area and that cooling vents are not obstructed.
