Setup

1. Battery Installation

The digital keypad requires batteries to function. Locate the battery compartment, typically on the inside of the safe door. Insert the required batteries (usually AA, not included) according to the polarity markings. Close the battery compartment securely.

2. Mounting the Safe

For enhanced security, it is recommended to mount the safe to a wall or floor using the provided expansion screws.

  1. Choose a suitable location for mounting.
  2. Mark the drilling points through the pre-drilled holes at the back or bottom of the safe.
  3. Drill pilot holes into the wall or floor at the marked locations.
  4. Align the safe with the drilled holes and insert the expansion screws.
  5. Tighten the screws firmly to secure the safe in place.

Operating Instructions

1. Initial Code Setup

Upon first use, the safe will have a default factory code (e.g., 159). It is crucial to change this immediately.

  1. With the door open, press the red reset button located on the inside of the door.
  2. Enter your desired new code (3-8 digits) on the keypad.
  3. Press the '#' button to confirm. The indicator light will confirm successful programming.
2. Opening the Safe (Digital Code)
  1. Enter your personal code on the digital keypad.
  2. Press the '#' button. The indicator light will turn green, and you will hear a beep.
  3. Within 5 seconds, turn the knob clockwise to open the safe door.
3. Opening the Safe (Emergency Key)

In case of forgotten code or dead batteries, use the emergency keys:

  1. Remove the cover plate over the keyhole, usually located near the knob.
  2. Insert the emergency key and turn it counter-clockwise.
  3. Simultaneously turn the main knob clockwise to open the door.

4. Locking the Safe

Close the safe door and turn the knob counter-clockwise to secure the locking bolts. The safe is now locked.

5. Alarm System and Mute Mode
  • Anti-Tampering Alarm: If three consecutive incorrect codes are entered, the safe's alarm system will activate, emitting an audible alert. This deters unauthorized access.
  • Mute Mode: To open the safe without sound, activate the mute mode. Refer to the specific instructions in your full manual for enabling/disabling this feature. This is useful for discreet access.
