5. Assembly

The Saker Cordless Electric Snow Shovel requires minimal assembly. Follow these steps:

5.1 Connecting the Tubes

  1. Slide the upper tube onto the lower tube: Align the sections and push them together until they click into place.
  2. Tighten the threaded collar: Rotate the threaded collar clockwise to secure the two tube sections firmly. Ensure it is tight to prevent loosening during operation.

5.2 Attaching and Adjusting the Front Handle

  1. Attach the auxiliary handle: Slide the auxiliary handle onto the main shaft. Insert the provided screw and tighten the knob to secure it.
  2. Adjust the handle height: Press the lock button on the auxiliary handle and lift it to your desired operating position. Release the lock button to secure the handle. Adjust to a comfortable height for optimal control and reduced fatigue.

6. Setup and Charging

6.1 Battery Charging

The 22V 5.0Ah Lithium-Ion battery requires charging before first use. The included charger supports 10C fast charging.

  1. Connect the charger to a standard electrical outlet.
  2. Insert the battery into the charger. Ensure a secure connection.
  3. The charger's indicator light will show the charging status. Refer to the charger's specific instructions for light indications (e.g., red for charging, green for fully charged).
  4. Once fully charged, remove the battery from the charger.

6.2 Battery Installation

To install the battery:

  1. Ensure the snow shovel is turned off.
  2. Slide the charged battery pack into the battery slot on the main handle until it clicks securely into place.
  3. To remove the battery, press the release button and slide the battery out.

7. Operating Instructions

7.1 Starting the Snow Shovel

The Saker Cordless Electric Snow Shovel features a dual safety switch for safe operation:

  1. Insert a fully charged battery.
  2. Hold the safety lock switch (located on the side of the handle) with your thumb.
  3. While holding the safety switch, squeeze the trigger switch to start the motor.
  4. Once the motor starts, you can release the safety lock switch. The motor will continue to run as long as the trigger is pressed.
  5. To stop the snow shovel, release the trigger switch.
