Setup

1. Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the robot. The charging process typically takes 4 to 5 hours. Connect the charging adapter to the robot and a power outlet. The indicator light will show charging status.

2. App Connection (Optional)

To control the robot via the app:

1. Plug in the charger and turn on the device.
2. Within 10 seconds of powering on, press and hold the power button for 3 seconds. A beep and synchronized LED flashing will confirm activation.
3. Open the app on your smartphone and add the device.

3. Placement in Pool

Gently lower the robot into the pool. Ensure it is fully submerged before starting operation. The U8 is suitable for above-ground and in-ground pools with PVC, tile, vinyl, or coated surfaces. It is not suitable for round or oval pools.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

Press the power button on the robot to turn it on. The robot will begin its cleaning cycle according to the selected mode. To turn off, press the power button again or retrieve the robot from the pool.

2. Cleaning Modes

The U8 offers four cleaning modes:

• Floor Only Mode: Cleans only the bottom surface of the pool.

3. App Control Features

The app allows you to:

• Configure the 4 cleaning modes remotely.

4. Automatic Parking

When the battery is low, the U8 robot will automatically return to the edge of the pool for easy retrieval.

Maintenance

1. Filter Cleaning

The U8 is equipped with a 180 µm precision filter and a 6L debris bin. After each cleaning cycle, or as needed, remove and clean the filter to ensure optimal performance. Rinse the filter thoroughly with water to remove trapped debris such as dust, sand, small leaves, and hair.

Troubleshooting

App Connection Issues

If the application does not connect:

1. Ensure the charger is plugged in and the device is powered on.
