5.2 Wiring Instructions

WARNING: Disconnect power at the main circuit breaker before attempting any wiring.

  1. Open the timer switch casing.
  2. Identify the input terminals (Power) and output terminals (Load) as shown in the wiring diagram.
  3. Connect the incoming live wire (L) and neutral wire (N) from your power source to the corresponding input terminals of the timer switch.
  4. Connect the live wire (L) and neutral wire (N) of your appliance (load) to the corresponding output terminals of the timer switch.
  5. Ensure all wire connections are secure and properly insulated using the provided terminal connectors and electrical tape.
  6. Close the casing securely, ensuring the sealing rings are properly seated to maintain waterproof integrity.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Initial Setup (First Use)

  1. After connecting power, the LCD display will illuminate. If the display is blank, press the RESET button using a pointed object (e.g., a pen tip).

6.2 Setting Current Time and Day

  1. Press the P button once. The display will show the current time setting.
  2. Press D+ to set the current day of the week.

  3. Press H+ to set the desired ON hour.
  4. Press M+ to set the desired ON minute.
  5. Press P again. '1 OFF' will appear. This is for the first OFF program.
  6. Repeat steps 2-4 to set the desired OFF day(s), hour, and minute for this program.
  7. Continue pressing P to cycle through '2 ON', '2 OFF', up to '28 ON', '28 OFF' to set additional programs.
  8. After setting all desired programs, press the P button until the display returns to the current time.

6.4 Manual Override and Mode Selection

Press the MANUAL C/R button to cycle through different operating modes:

  • ON: The output is continuously ON, overriding all programs.
  • OFF: The output is continuously OFF, overriding all programs.
  • AUTO ON: The timer will follow programmed schedules, starting with an ON state if the current time falls within an ON period.
  • AUTO OFF: The timer will follow programmed schedules, starting with an OFF state if the current time falls within an OFF period.

6.5 Daylight Saving Time (DST) Mode

This timer switch supports Daylight Saving Time adjustments. Refer to the specific instructions in the included paper manual for activating and deactivating DST mode, as the button combination may vary.
