Maintenance

1. Water Resistance (WR30M)

The SYNOKE 9619 watch is rated for 30 meters (WR30M) water resistance. This means it is suitable for daily use and can withstand splashes or brief immersion in water. It is not recommended for swimming, showering, or diving. Avoid pressing buttons while the watch is wet or submerged, as this can compromise the water seal.

2. Battery Replacement

When the display becomes dim or the watch stops functioning, the battery may need replacement. Battery replacement should ideally be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure the water resistance seal is properly maintained. Refer to the watch back for battery type information.

3. Cleaning

To clean your watch, wipe it gently with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying. Avoid using chemical cleaners, solvents, or abrasive materials, as these can damage the watch case or strap.

Troubleshooting

  • Display is blank or dim: The battery may be low or depleted. Replace the battery.
  • Time is incorrect: Re-set the time and date following the instructions in the "Setting Time and Date" section. Ensure AM/PM is correctly set.
  • Buttons are unresponsive: Ensure the watch is not in a locked mode (if applicable, though not explicitly stated for this model). Try pressing the buttons firmly. If the issue persists, a battery replacement might resolve it, or there could be an internal malfunction.
  • Water inside the watch: Immediately take the watch to a professional watch repair service. Do not attempt to open it yourself, as this will void any warranty and likely cause further damage.
