2. Safety Information

• Ensure the device is connected to a standard electrical outlet (230V/50Hz).
• Do not exceed the maximum load capacity of 3680W (16A). Overloading can cause damage to the device and connected appliances, and poses a fire hazard.
• The device is designed for indoor use only. Avoid exposure to moisture, direct sunlight, or extreme temperatures.
• Do not disassemble or attempt to repair the device. Contact qualified personnel for service.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Overload Protection

The wattmeter features an overload protection function. The default overload limit is 3680W. If the power consumption of the connected appliance exceeds this limit, the LCD screen will display "OVERLOAD" and emit an audible beep to alert the user. All buttons on the wattmeter will become inactive. To clear the alarm and restore functionality, either increase the overload setting value or disconnect the overloaded appliance.

Display Modes

The device offers 8 display modes to monitor various electrical parameters:

1. Mode 1: Time, Apparent Power (VA), Active Power (W)
2. Mode 2: Time, Cumulative Energy (kWh), Cost
3. Mode 3: Time, Voltage (V), Frequency (Hz)
4. Mode 4: Time, Current (A), Power Factor
5. Mode 5: Time, Minimum Power (W), Maximum Power (W)
6. Mode 6: Time, Overload Alarm (W), Cumulative Days
7. Mode 7: Time, kWh Alarm Setting
8. Mode 8: Time, Electricity Price Setting

4. Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the wattmeter from its packaging.
2. Initial Connection: Plug the wattmeter directly into a standard wall outlet. The LCD screen will illuminate.
3. Setting Electricity Price: To accurately calculate costs, you must set the electricity price per kWh.
• Press the "MODE" button until you reach Mode 8 (Price Setting).
• Press "SET" to enter the setting mode. The price digits will flash.
• Use "UP" and "DOWN" buttons to adjust the value.
• Press "SET" again to confirm and move to the next digit.
• Once all digits are set, press "MODE" to exit.
4. Connect Appliance: Plug the appliance you wish to monitor into the wattmeter's socket.

5. Operating Instructions

Basic Monitoring

Once an appliance is connected and powered on, the wattmeter will begin monitoring its consumption. Press the "MODE" button repeatedly to cycle through the 8 different display modes, viewing parameters such as current power, cumulative energy, voltage, current, and cost.

Setting kWh Alarm

You can set a cumulative energy consumption limit. When the total consumption reaches this predefined value, the meter will beep, and the "KWH" alarm will flash continuously.

• Press the "MODE" button until you reach Mode 7 (kWh Alarm Setting).
• Press "SET" to enter the setting mode. The kWh alarm digits will flash.
• Use "UP" and "DOWN" buttons to adjust the desired kWh limit.
• Press "SET" again to confirm and move to the next digit.
• Once set, press "MODE" to exit.
• To disable the audible alarm, set a higher kWh limit or reset the limit (note: resetting will clear all settings).

Adjusting Backlight Duration

The wattmeter offers 5 backlight duration options. The default duration is 10 minutes (bL-0).

• Simultaneously press the "UP" and "DOWN" buttons to enter the backlight setting mode.
• Use "UP" and "DOWN" to select the desired duration:
• bL-0 = 10 minutes
• bL-1 = 1 hour
• bL-2 = 4 hours
• bL-3 = 8 hours
• bL-4 = Always On
• Press "SET" to save the backlight settings.
• You can also manually turn the backlight on/off by pressing the "DOWN" button.

Data Memory Function

The energy meter will save your energy consumption data even when removed from the outlet or when appliances are disconnected. All setting data and cumulative data (electricity quantity, cost, unit price) will be preserved. This allows you to view the latest data directly the next time you use the meter. This function also automatically saves data in case of a sudden power outage.

6. Maintenance

• Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Ensure the device is unplugged before cleaning.
• Store the wattmeter in a cool, dry place when not in use.
