Setup
1. Powering On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the power button (located on the side) until the screen illuminates.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the power button, then select 'Power Off' from the options that appear on the screen.
- To Restart: Press and hold the power button, then select 'Restart' from the options.
2. Initial Configuration
Upon first power-on, follow the on-screen prompts to:
- Select your preferred language.
- Connect to a Wi-Fi network for internet access.
- Set up your time zone and date.
- Log in to your accounts (e.g., Google, e-reading platforms).
3. SIM Card Insertion (for 4G Connectivity)
If you plan to use 4G connectivity, insert a nano-SIM card:
- Locate the SIM card tray on the side of the device.
- Use the provided card tray eject tool to open the tray.
- Place your nano-SIM card into the tray with the gold contacts facing down.
- Gently push the tray back into the device until it clicks into place.
4. Charging the Device
Before first use, fully charge your AiPaper Reader using the included USB-C cable and a compatible power adapter.
- Connect the USB-C cable to the device's charging port.
- Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
- The charging indicator on the screen will show the charging status.
