3. Setup and Assembly

4. Reinstall the chain brake cover and hand-tighten the nuts. Do not fully tighten yet.
5. Adjust the chain tension using the tool-free tensioning system. The chain should be snug against the bar but still able to be pulled around by hand.
6. Once tension is correct, fully tighten the nuts on the chain brake cover.

3.2. Fuel and Chain Oil Mixture:

3. Fill the chain oil reservoir (labeled "Chain Lubricant Filler Cap" in Figure 2.2) with appropriate bar and chain oil.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Starting the Chainsaw:

1. Place the chainsaw on a firm, flat surface. Ensure the chain brake is engaged.
2. Set the engine ON/OFF switch to the "ON" position.
3. Pull out the choke control to the "CLOSED" position.
4. Press the primer bulb 4-5 times until fuel is visible.
5. Pull the starting cord firmly and steadily until the engine "pops" or attempts to start. Do not pull the cord to its full extension.
6. Push the choke control back to the "OPEN" position.
7. Pull the starting cord again until the engine starts.
8. Allow the engine to warm up for a few moments before engaging the throttle.

• Always maintain a balanced stance and firm grip.
• Avoid cutting with the tip of the guide bar to prevent kickback.
• When cutting branches, always cut from the underside first to prevent pinching.
• Be aware of falling branches and logs. Plan your cuts and escape routes.
