4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power On/Off and Suction Control
- Power On: Press the power button (O) on the main unit to turn the device on.
- Adjust Suction: Use the '+' and '-' buttons to select one of the 3 adjustable suction levels:

- Standard Mode (9kPa): General grooming tasks.
- Strong Mode (12kPa): For thick coats or heavy shedding.
- Power Off: Press the power button again to turn the device off.
4.2 Using Grooming Tools
Always ensure your pet's fur is completely dry before using any grooming tool with the vacuum function.
- Grooming Brush: Gently brush your pet's coat to remove loose fur and detangle. Press the 'Clean' button on the brush head to retract the bristles and allow the vacuum to suck the collected hair into the dust cup.
- Deshedding Brush: Use this tool to effectively remove undercoat and loose hair, reducing shedding.
- Electric Clipper: Select a guide comb (3mm, 6mm, 9mm, 12mm, 18mm, or 24mm) based on the desired hair length and attach it to the clipper. Turn on the vacuum and gently trim your pet's hair. The vacuum will collect the trimmed hair.
- Pet Paw Trimmer: Carefully trim excess fur from between your pet's paw pads to prevent matting and improve traction.
- Nail Grinder: Gently grind your pet's nails to a smooth finish. Ensure your pet is comfortable with the sound and sensation before prolonged use.
- Cleaning Nozzle (Crevice Tool): Use this attachment to vacuum up stray hairs from floors, furniture, or hard-to-reach areas after grooming.
- Cleaning Brush: For general cleaning of the vacuum unit, tools, and surrounding areas.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Emptying the Dust Cup

5.2 Cleaning Filters
The unit contains a HEPA filter and a sponge filter. Regular cleaning is essential for maintaining optimal suction power and preventing overheating. Refer to the user manual for detailed instructions on how to remove and clean these filters.
5.3 Electric Clippers Maintenance
To ensure longevity and performance of the electric clippers:
- If the clippers have poor contact or the metal pins become oxidized, wipe them with alcohol and clean the clippers.
- Use the included cleaning brush to remove hair buildup.
- Apply the provided lubricant regularly for optimal performance.
6. Troubleshooting
6.1 Pets Afraid of Sounds
Some pets may be sensitive to the vacuum's sound. To help them adjust:
- With the vacuum switched off, let your pet sniff and explore the unit.
- Turn on the vacuum on the first (lowest) setting 3 meters away from your pet to get them used to the noise.
- Start by gently grooming your pet and use positive reinforcement (such as treats and praise) to create a pleasant environment.
6.2 Machine Stops Working
- Overheat Protection Shutdown: The machine may shut down due to overheating. It can be used again after cooling down for half an hour.
- Insufficient Suction Protection Shutdown: This can occur if the filters are clogged. It can be restored to use after cleaning the hair on the sponge/HEPA filter.
6.3 Clipper and Comb Issues
- How to install the guide comb: When installing the guide comb, align the clips on the guide comb with the slots on the clipper. Press inward from the outside until it clicks into place.
- For other clipper issues, refer to section 5.3 for maintenance tips.
6.4 Usage with Wet Fur
WARNING: DO NOT use the PG100 Plus pet grooming vacuum on wet fur or liquids. Always fully dry your pet's hair before grooming and trimming.
