1. Introduction

4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

  1. Unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight.
  2. Remove the insulating film from the battery.
  3. Insert the 14500 battery with the positive (+) end facing towards the flashlight head.
  4. Screw the tail cap back on securely.

4.2 Charging the Battery

The included 14500 battery has a built-in USB-C port for convenient charging. Connect the USB-C charging cable to the battery and a power source. The indicator light on the battery will show red during charging and turn green when fully charged.

5. Operation

5.1 Power On/Off

Fully press the tail switch to turn the flashlight on or off.

5.2 Switching Light Sources

Rotate the magnetic switch on the flashlight head to cycle through the three light sources:

  • Mode 1: White Light
  • Mode 2: Green Beam
  • Mode 3: UV Light

5.3 Adjusting Brightness Levels

  • White Light Mode: While the white light is on, turn it off and then on again within 4 seconds to cycle through Low, Medium, and High brightness levels.
  • UV Light Mode: While the UV light is on, turn it off and then on again within 4 seconds to cycle between High and Low brightness levels.

5.4 Strobe Function

While in White Light Mode (Mode 1), rotate the magnetic switch to Mode 2 (Green Beam) and then back to Mode 1 within 0.3 seconds to activate the white light strobe function.

5.5 Green Beam for Pointing

The green beam provides precise targeting, useful for highlighting points in presentations, guiding remotely outdoors, or pinpointing issues during equipment maintenance.

5.6 UV Light for Detection

The 365nm UV light with 1000mW output reveals details invisible to the naked eye, assisting in authenticating items, inspecting for cleanliness, and nature observations.

7. Maintenance

  • Clean the threads and O-rings regularly to maintain the waterproof seal. Lubricate O-rings with silicone grease as needed.
  • If the flashlight is not used for an extended period, remove the battery to prevent leakage.
  • Store the flashlight in a cool, dry place.
  • Avoid direct eye exposure to the light beam, especially the green laser.
  • Do not disassemble the sealed head to avoid damage to the flashlight and voiding the warranty.

8. Troubleshooting

If your flashlight is not functioning correctly, please try the following steps:

  • Ensure the battery is fully charged and correctly inserted with the positive (+) end towards the head.
  • Check the tail cap and head for any loose connections. Tighten them firmly.
  • Clean the battery contacts and threads with an alcohol swab.
  • If using an AA battery, ensure it is a fresh, high-quality alkaline or Ni-MH rechargeable battery. Note that AA batteries may not provide the full output of the included 14500 Li-ion battery.

  • 15-Day Replacement: Any quality defective lights can be replaced within 15 days of purchase.
  • 60-Month Warranty: ACEBEAM offers a 60-month warranty for problems developing with normal use for LED models.
  • 12-Month Warranty: Batteries, battery packs, chargers, remote switches, and other accessories are covered for 12 months.
  • Limited Lifetime Warranty: For replacement parts beyond the warranty period, ACEBEAM charges for replacement parts.
