Setup and Installation

The Ecoviva E8 system is designed for under-sink installation. A dedicated faucet is included for purified water.

1. Prepare the Installation Area

  • Ensure sufficient space under your sink for the main unit (42L x 12.7W x 31H cm).
  • Locate a suitable position for the dedicated purified water faucet on your countertop. A hole of approximately 24mm (0.94 inch) diameter is required for the faucet.
  • Identify the cold water supply line and a drain line for the waste water.
  • Ensure a grounded electrical outlet is available under the sink.

2. Install the Faucet

  • Drill a 24mm hole in the desired countertop location if one does not exist.
  • Insert the faucet stem through the hole and secure it from below with the provided hardware.
  • Connect the water line from the RO system to the faucet.

3. Connect Water Lines

  • Turn off the cold water supply to your sink.
  • Install the cold water adapter to your cold water line.
  • Connect the inlet water line from the adapter to the RO system.
  • Install the drain saddle valve onto the drain pipe.
  • Connect the waste water line from the RO system to the drain saddle.
  • Connect the purified water line from the RO system to the smart faucet.

4. Power Connection and Initial Flush

  • Plug the power adapter into the RO system and then into a grounded electrical outlet.
  • Slowly turn on the cold water supply. Check for any leaks.
  • Open the purified water faucet and allow the system to flush for at least 15-30 minutes. This removes air and carbon fines from the new filters.
  • Close the faucet. The system is now ready for use.
