Troubleshooting
- No Display/Power: Ensure batteries are inserted correctly with proper polarity, or that the USB cable is securely connected to a power source. Replace old batteries.
- Sensors Not Connecting: Check that both the main unit and sensors have fresh batteries. Ensure sensors are within the transmission range (100M/328FT in open air) and not blocked by thick walls or metal objects. Press and hold the 'CH1/CH2' button on the main unit to re-initiate pairing.
- Inaccurate Readings: Allow the sensors and main unit to stabilize for at least 30 minutes after initial setup or relocation. Ensure sensors are not placed directly next to cooling vents or heating elements.
- Alarm Not Sounding: Verify that the high/low temperature alarm limits are set correctly and are enabled. Check the volume settings if applicable (this model has a fixed alarm sound).
- Backlight Not Staying On: The backlight automatically turns off after 10 seconds when powered by batteries to conserve energy. For a constant backlight, power the main unit via the USB cable.
