This compact and powerful 1500W PTC ceramic heater is designed for indoor use, offering fast heating and enhanced air circulation. It features a digital display, remote control, 24-hour timer, and multiple operating modes to ensure your comfort and safety.
Important Safety Instructions
When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:
- Read all instructions before using this heater.
- This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Use handles when moving this heater.
- Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
- Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
- Always unplug heater when not in use.
- Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Return heater to authorized service facility for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment, or repair.
- Do not use outdoors.
- This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas and similar indoor locations. Never locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
- Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
- To disconnect heater, turn controls to off, then remove plug from outlet.
- Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
- To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
- A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable vapors or liquids are used or stored.
- Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
- Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
Built-in Safety Features
- Tip-Over Protection: The heater is equipped with an innovative tilt-detection sensor. If the heater is accidentally tipped over, it will automatically shut off to prevent hazards. Operation will resume once the unit is returned to an upright position.
- Overheat Protection: If the heater overheats, it will automatically shut down. Unplug the unit, wait 30 minutes for it to cool, remove any obstructions, and then plug it back in to restart. If it does not restart, contact customer service.
- V0 Flame Retardant Materials: Constructed with high-quality V0 flame retardant materials for enhanced safety.
- Safety Plug: Features a safety plug for reliable electrical connection.

Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove the heater from its packaging. Retain original packaging for storage.
- Placement: Place the heater on a firm, level surface. Ensure there are no obstructions to the air intake or exhaust. Maintain a safe distance from walls, furniture, and other objects as specified in the safety instructions.
- Power Connection: Plug the heater directly into a 120V AC wall outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.

Operating Instructions
The ZAFRO ZFH016E heater can be controlled via its top-mounted digital display touch panel or the included remote control.
Control Panel & Remote Control
The control panel on top of the heater features a digital display and touch-sensitive buttons for power, mode, temperature adjustment, and timer. The remote control offers the same functionality for convenient operation from a distance. The remote requires 2 AAA batteries (not included).

Power On/Off
- Press the Power button (
) on the control panel or remote to turn the heater on. The unit will start in ECO mode by default. - Press the Power button again to turn the heater off. The fan will run for 20 seconds before stopping to fully cool down the unit.
Heating Modes
Cycle through available modes by pressing the Mode button () on the control panel or remote.
- ECO Mode: Automatically adjusts heating power based on room temperature to save energy.
- Low Power (750W): Provides steady, silent warmth, ideal for background heat or nighttime use.
- High Power (1500W): Delivers rapid heat for quick warming of your space.
- Fan Only: Circulates cool air without heating, suitable for summer or air circulation.

Thermostat Setting
The heater allows you to set a desired temperature between 40°F and 85°F (default is 73°F).
- Press the Temperature button () on the control panel or remote. The temperature digit will blink.
- Use the + or - buttons to adjust to your desired temperature.
- After setting, the temperature digit will stop blinking. The heater will maintain room temperature by cycling on and off as needed.
Timer Function
The timer allows you to set the heater to automatically turn off after a specified period (1-24 hours).
- Press the Timer button () on the control panel or remote. The timer icon and the digit (0) will blink.
- Use the + or - buttons to set the desired shutdown time (1-24 hours).
- The heater will automatically shut off when the set time runs out.
Child Lock
To activate the child lock, press the Child Lock button () on the remote control. This will disable all controls on the unit. Press again to unlock.
Beep Sound On/Off
To mute the button sounds, press and hold the + and - buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. Repeat to restore sound.
Maintenance
Regular cleaning and proper storage will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your ZAFRO Space Heater.
Cleaning
- Always unplug the heater and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Clean the exterior and control panel with a soft, damp, lint-free cloth.
- Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or solvents as they may damage the appliance.
- Use a vacuum cleaner or blower to clear dust from the vents and grilles.
Storage
- Retain the original packaging for storage.
- Store the unit in a dry, clean location.
- Keep out of reach of children.
Troubleshooting
- Heater does not turn on: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a 120V AC outlet. Check if the tip-over safety switch on the bottom of the unit is fully depressed (i.e., the heater is on a flat, stable surface).
- Heater turns off unexpectedly: This is likely due to the built-in tip-over or overheat protection. Ensure the heater is on a stable, flat surface and that air vents are not blocked. Unplug the unit, allow it to cool for 30 minutes, and then restart.
- No heat or insufficient heat: Verify the selected mode and temperature setting. Ensure the room temperature is below the set temperature for the heater to activate. Check for any obstructions blocking the air flow.
- Remote control not working: Ensure the remote has fresh AAA batteries and is pointed directly at the heater's control panel.
