4. Installation
The Electactic JQ-4G grill is designed for built-in installation into an outdoor kitchen countertop. The unit arrives fully assembled. It is recommended to purchase the product first and then create the necessary cutout based on the actual product dimensions.
4.1 Dimensions and Cutout Requirements
Carefully measure the product and plan your outdoor kitchen cutout accordingly. Ensure sufficient clearance for ventilation and maintenance.

Tip:
- Leave 5 inches of space at the back for opening the grill cover.

4.2 Gas Connection
Connect the propane gas supply line to the grill's inlet. Ensure all connections are tight and leak-free. Use a soapy water solution to check for leaks: apply to connections; bubbles indicate a leak. Do not use the grill if a leak is detected.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Pre-Operation Check
- Ensure the grill is clean and free of debris.
- Check that the gas tank is connected securely and has sufficient fuel.
- Verify that all burner control knobs are in the "OFF" position.
5.2 Lighting the Burners
- Open the grill lid.
- Turn on the gas supply at the propane tank.
- Push and turn a control knob to the "HIGH" position. You should hear an ignition click.
- If the burner does not light within 5 seconds, turn the knob to "OFF", wait 5 minutes for gas to dissipate, and repeat the lighting procedure.
- Once lit, adjust the flame to your desired cooking temperature.
- Repeat for other burners as needed.
5.3 Temperature Control
The grill features a built-in thermometer on the lid to monitor internal temperature. Adjust the burner control knobs to regulate heat. Lower settings are suitable for slow cooking or warming, while higher settings are for searing and high-heat grilling.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Cooking Grates and Tray
- After each use, once the grill has cooled, brush off any food residue from the cooking grates and baking tray.
- For deeper cleaning, remove the grates and tray and wash with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before placing them back in the grill.
6.2 Cleaning the Grease Tray
The grill features an oversized grease tray. Regularly remove and clean the grease tray to prevent flare-ups and maintain hygiene. Dispose of grease properly.
6.3 Exterior Cleaning
Wipe down the stainless steel exterior with a soft cloth and a stainless steel cleaner. Avoid abrasive cleaners or pads that can scratch the surface.
6.4 Storage and Protection
