4. Setup and Installation

The fan is designed for quick installation with most functional components pre-assembled. However, if you are not comfortable with electrical work, it is recommended to consult a qualified electrician.

5. Operating Instructions

The SHLUCE ceiling fan is operated using the included remote control. Ensure the remote has working batteries (2*AAA batteries, not included).

  • Power On/Off: Press the power button (U) to turn the entire unit (fan and light) on or off.
  • Light Control: Press the light button (Light Bulb Icon) to turn the lights on or off independently.
  • Fan Speed: Use buttons 1 through 6 to select the desired fan speed. 1 is the lowest speed, 6 is the highest.
  • Reversible Motor: The fan features a reversible motor for year-round comfort. Press the F/R button to switch between forward (downdraft for cooling in summer) and reverse (updraft for air circulation in winter) modes.
  • Timer Function: Set the fan to turn off automatically after a set period. Press 2H for 2 hours or 4H for 4 hours.
  • Mute Mode: The fan operates with low noise. If a beeping sound is heard from the remote, press the mute button (speaker icon) to silence it.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: To clean the fan, wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure power is off before cleaning.
