6. Maintenance

6.1. Cleaning

  • Regularly clean the camera lens and PIR sensors with a soft, dry cloth to ensure clear images and optimal detection.
  • Wipe the camera body with a damp cloth if it becomes dirty. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

6.2. Battery Care

  • Recharge the 7800 mAh lithium-ion battery as needed. The battery is designed for approximately 500 charge cycles.
  • For prolonged storage, charge the battery to about 50% and store it in a cool, dry place.

6.3. SD Card Management

  • Periodically format the SD card using the camera's menu or a computer to maintain optimal performance and prevent data corruption.
  • Ensure the SD card is securely inserted before closing the camera housing.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1. No Live Stream or Poor Signal

  • Ensure you have an active live subscription plan.
  • Check the camera's location for optimal 4G signal reception. Dense foliage, indoor environments, or remote areas can limit signal strength.
  • Verify that the camera's antenna is properly attached and oriented.

7.2. Excessive Photos/Videos

  • Adjust the PIR sensor sensitivity settings in the camera menu or via the app. High sensitivity can trigger captures from minor movements like swaying branches.
  • Ensure the camera is not pointed at areas with constant motion or heat sources that could falsely trigger the sensor.

7.3. GPS Signal Issues

  • For best results, install the camera in an open outdoor area with a clear view of the sky.
  • Allow sufficient time for the camera to acquire a GPS signal, especially after initial setup or relocation.

7.4. Camera Not Powering On

  • Ensure the battery is fully charged and correctly inserted.
  • Check that the camera is switched to the ON position.
