4. Setup

  1. Charging the Device: Connect the microscope to a USB power source using the provided USB charging cable. The device has a built-in rechargeable battery.
  2. Assembling the Base (Optional): For desktop use, attach the microscope unit to its base. Ensure it clicks securely into place.
  3. Inserting Prepared Slides: Place a prepared slide onto the stage of the microscope. Use the clips to hold it in place if available.
  4. Powering On: Press and hold the power button (usually marked with a power symbol) until the screen illuminates.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Operation

  • Adjusting Magnification: Use the zoom buttons (up/down arrows) on the device to adjust the digital magnification from 100x to 1600x.
  • Focusing: Rotate the focusing knob (typically on the side of the microscope body) to bring the specimen into clear view on the screen.
  • Adjusting LED Lights: Use the dedicated button to cycle through 3 adjustable brightness modes for the 6 built-in LED fill lights.
  • Capturing Photos/Videos: Press the designated photo/video button to capture images or start/stop video recording. Ensure an SD card is inserted to save media.

5.2 Using Different Modes

  • Desktop Mode: Attach the microscope to its base for stable, prolonged observation.
  • Handheld Mode: Detach the microscope from its base to explore objects directly, such as plants, fabrics, or skin.
  • Portable Mode: The compact design allows for easy transport for outdoor adventures.

5.3 Connecting to a PC

  • Connect the microscope to your computer using the provided USB cable.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the microscope body and screen. For the lens, use a specialized lens cleaning cloth and solution.

7. Troubleshooting

  • No Power: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the USB cable to a power source and try again.
  • Blurred Image: Adjust the focusing knob slowly until the image becomes clear. Ensure the specimen is properly positioned.
  • Screen is Dark: Check the LED light brightness settings and adjust as needed. Ensure the specimen is adequately illuminated.
  • Cannot Save Photos/Videos: Verify that an SD card is correctly inserted into the device. Check if the SD card has sufficient free space.
