  • Vertical Poles (various lengths for top, middle, and bottom sections)

  • Hanging Rods (2)
  • Side Hooks (8)
  • Plastic Sleeves/Clips (numerous, for shelf height adjustment)
  • Casters/Wheels (4, with 2 lockable)

Setup and Assembly Instructions

Assembly is required. No additional tools are needed for most steps, but a rubber mallet may be helpful for securing shelves. Follow the instructions carefully. Parts are often labeled with letters corresponding to diagrams.

  1. Unpack and Identify Parts: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Lay them out and compare them against the package contents list to ensure everything is present.
  2. Attach Casters: Screw the four casters into the bottom of the four shortest vertical poles. Ensure two of these casters are the lockable type. Tighten them securely.
  3. Assemble Bottom Frame: Connect the bottom vertical poles to the next set of vertical poles using the provided connectors. Ensure they are firmly seated.
  4. Install Lower Shelf: Determine the desired height for your lowest shelf. Snap the plastic sleeves onto each of the four vertical poles at the same height, ensuring they are securely locked into the grooves. Slide the wire shelf down over the sleeves until it rests firmly on them.
  5. Install Middle Poles and Shelf: Connect the next set of vertical poles to the top of the poles from the previous step. Repeat the process of snapping plastic sleeves onto the poles at the desired height for the middle shelf, then slide the middle wire shelf into place.
  6. Install Upper Poles and Top Shelf: Connect the final set of vertical poles. Snap plastic sleeves onto the poles for the top shelf, then slide the top wire shelf into place.
  7. Attach Hanging Rods: Position the two hanging rods between the vertical poles at your preferred height. Secure them using the designated clips or connectors.
  8. Attach Side Hooks: Clip the eight side hooks onto the vertical poles as desired for additional storage.

Operating Instructions

  • Adjusting Shelves: The shelves can be repositioned to accommodate items of various heights. To adjust, remove items from the shelf, lift the shelf, reposition the plastic sleeves to the desired groove on each pole, and then lower the shelf back onto the sleeves until it is secure.
  • Using Hanging Rods: The two double hanging rods provide ample space for clothes. Ensure garments are hung evenly to maintain balance.
  • Utilizing Side Hooks: The eight side hooks are ideal for hanging accessories such as hats, scarves, bags, or belts.
  • Mobility and Stability: The wardrobe is equipped with four 360-degree swivel wheels for easy movement. Two of these wheels are lockable. To move the unit, unlock the two lockable wheels. To keep the unit stationary, engage the locks on these two wheels.
  • Weight Distribution: For optimal stability and to prevent damage, distribute the weight of your items evenly across all shelves and hanging rods. Do not overload any single section.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe down the metal surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the finish.
  • Inspection: Periodically check all connections, especially the plastic sleeves and pole joints, to ensure they remain secure. Tighten any loose parts.
  • Caster Care: Keep the casters free of dust and debris to ensure smooth rolling.

Troubleshooting

  • Wardrobe is Wobbly:
Solution: Ensure all plastic clips are correctly seated in the pole grooves at the same height for each shelf. Press down firmly on each corner of the shelves to ensure they are fully seated on the clips. Verify all pole connections are tight.
  • Shelves Not Holding Weight / Slipping:
Solution: Confirm that the plastic clips are securely locked into the grooves on all four poles for each shelf. The clips have a tapered design; ensure they are oriented correctly. Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 600 lbs, and distribute items evenly.
  • Difficulty Moving the Unit:
Solution: Check if the lockable wheels are engaged. Disengage the locks to allow movement. Ensure the wheels are free of any obstructions or debris.
  • Parts Not Fitting Together:
Solution: Double-check the part identification against the assembly instructions. Ensure components are oriented correctly. Some pole connections may require firm pressure to fully seat.
