4. Assembly Instructions
Follow these steps to assemble your STRICH SGT-40 Guitar Stool. It is recommended to assemble on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
- Attach the Main Support Frame: Unfold the main support frame. Ensure the base is stable.
- Install the Footrest Bar: Insert the footrest bar into the designated slots on the main support frame. Secure it by tightening the adjustment knob firmly. Ensure it is at a comfortable height for your playing posture.
- Attach the Seat Cushion: Place the saddle-shaped seat cushion onto the top post of the main support frame. Secure it by tightening the knob located underneath the seat.
- Install the Backrest with Guitar Hanger: Slide the backrest post into the receiver at the rear of the seat. Adjust the backrest to your desired position and tighten the knob to secure it. The guitar hanger can be rotated for optimal guitar placement.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Height Adjustment
The stool features a five-level height adjustment mechanism to accommodate various user heights and playing styles.
- Loosen the height adjustment screw located on the main support frame.
- Carefully raise or lower the seat to your desired height.
- Tighten the height adjustment screw firmly to secure the seat in place. Ensure it is fully tightened before sitting.

5.2 Backrest and Guitar Hanger Usage
- The backrest provides lumbar support. Adjust its position by loosening the knob behind the seat, sliding the backrest to your preferred depth, and then tightening the knob.
- To remove the backrest, fully loosen the knob and slide the backrest post out.
- The integrated guitar hanger can be rotated 360 degrees to securely hold acoustic, electric, or bass guitars when not in use. Ensure the guitar is balanced and stable on the hanger.

5.3 Footrest Support
The ergonomic footrest is designed to relieve leg pressure during long playing sessions. Adjust its height during assembly to suit your comfort. Ensure the footrest bar is tightened securely to prevent sliding.

6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe down the metal frame with a damp cloth. For the seat cushion, use a mild soap solution and a soft cloth, then wipe dry. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Inspection: Periodically check all screws and knobs to ensure they are tight. Re-tighten as necessary to maintain stability.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the stool in a dry environment. The stool can be folded for more compact storage.
7. Troubleshooting
- Stool feels wobbly: Ensure all assembly screws and adjustment knobs are fully tightened. Check that the stool is on a flat, even surface.
- Footrest slides down: Re-tighten the footrest adjustment knob firmly. If the issue persists, ensure the footrest bar is correctly seated in its slot.
- Difficulty adjusting height: Loosen the height adjustment screw sufficiently. Ensure no debris is obstructing the adjustment mechanism.
