Assembly Instructions (Setup)

Assembly requires two adults. Clear a spacious area for assembly. Tools required: Phillips head screwdriver, hammer (optional).

1. Unpack and Identify Parts: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Lay them out on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches. Identify each part using the provided diagrams (if applicable).
2. Assemble the Chest Frame: Attach the side panels to the bottom panel using the designated hardware (e.g., dowels and cam locks). Ensure the grooves for the back panel are facing correctly.
3. Install Drawer Glides: Secure the metal drawer glides to the inner sides of the chest frame using screws. Ensure they are level and aligned.
4. Attach Top Panel: Secure the top panel to the assembled frame.
5. Insert Back Panel: Slide the back panel into the grooves on the chest frame and secure it with small nails or screws.
6. Assemble Drawers: For each drawer, attach the sides, back, and front to the bottom panel. Install the drawer glides to the sides of the drawer. Attach the metal knobs to the drawer fronts.
7. Install Lock Mechanism: Follow specific instructions for installing the lock on the designated drawer.
8. Insert Drawers: Carefully slide each assembled drawer onto its corresponding glides within the chest frame.
9. Secure Anti-Tip Hardware: Attach the anti-tip bracket to the top rear of the chest and secure it to a wall stud using the provided hardware. This step is critical for safety.

Operating Instructions

This chest is designed for storing clothing, linens, and other household items.

• Opening/Closing Drawers: Gently pull the metal knobs to open drawers and push them firmly to close. Avoid slamming drawers to prevent damage to the glides and frame.
• Using the Lock: The top drawer is equipped with a lock. Insert the key into the keyhole and turn to lock or unlock the drawer. Keep keys in a safe place away from children.
• Weight Distribution: Distribute items evenly within drawers. Avoid placing excessively heavy items in a single drawer, especially the top ones, to maintain stability.
