4. Maintenance

4.1 Self-Clean Function

The unit features a self-clean function to maintain internal hygiene. Select the 'Self-Clean' mode from the control panel and start the cycle. This helps prevent mineral buildup and ensures optimal performance.

4.2 Direct Drain System

The direct-drain system eliminates the need to manually empty a dirty water tank, ensuring every wash uses fresh water and simplifies maintenance. Ensure the drain hose remains clear and properly positioned in the sink.

4.3 General Cleaning

  • Wipe the exterior of the unit with a damp cloth as needed.
  • Periodically check the spray jets for any blockages and clean them gently if necessary.
  • If you have hard water, consider descaling the unit regularly according to general appliance descaling guidelines to prevent mineral buildup.

5. Troubleshooting

  • Water Tank Difficult to Remove: The water tank is designed to fit snugly and may be held by suction. Pull firmly to detach it.
  • Odor During Drying: A new unit may emit a slight odor (off-gassing) during initial drying cycles. This is normal. Run several empty drying cycles in a well-ventilated area until the odor dissipates.
  • Loud Noise During Empty Dryer Cycle: To avoid excessive noise, it is recommended not to run the dryer cycle when the unit is completely empty.
  • Drain Hose Blockage or Water Leakage: Inspect the drain hose for any obstructions, such as melted plastic or rubber, which can impede water flow. Ensure the hose is securely attached to the unit and properly routed into the sink.
  • Control Panel Buttons Unresponsive: Some buttons may require a firm and sustained press to register. Ensure you are pressing directly on the button icon.
  • Washer Arm Not Rotating: Check that the lower washer arm is not obstructed by items inside the unit. Ensure the screw retaining the lower arm is not overtightened, which can restrict its movement.
