3. Setup and Assembly
Your ESKUTE M200 bike arrives approximately 90% pre-assembled. Follow these steps for final assembly. Tools are included with your purchase.
3.1 Unboxing and Component Identification
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all parts listed in the packing list are present before proceeding.

3.2 Handlebar Installation
- Loosen the bolts on the handlebar stem using the provided Allen wrench.
- Insert the handlebar into the stem, ensuring it is centered and aligned.
- Tighten the stem bolts securely.
3.3 Front Wheel Attachment
- Remove the protective cap from the front fork.
- Align the front wheel with the fork dropouts, ensuring the brake rotor slides correctly into the brake caliper.
- Insert the axle bolt and tighten the nuts on both sides using the wrench.
3.4 Headlight Installation
- Attach the headlight bracket to the designated mounting point on the front fork.
- Secure the headlight to the bracket and connect the power cable.
3.5 Kickstand Installation
- Attach the kickstand to the mounting plate near the rear wheel.
- Securely tighten the bolts.
3.6 Seat Post Adjustment
- Insert the seat post into the frame's seat tube.
- Adjust the seat height to a comfortable riding position, ensuring your feet can touch the ground when stopped.
- Secure the quick-release lever or bolt.
3.7 Pedal Installation
- Identify the "L" (left) and "R" (right) pedals.
- Thread the "L" pedal counter-clockwise into the left crank arm.
- Thread the "R" pedal clockwise into the right crank arm.
- Tighten both pedals securely with a wrench.
3.8 Battery Installation and Charging
- Insert the removable battery into its housing on the bike frame.
- Lock the battery using the provided key for security.
- Connect the charger to the battery charging port and a power outlet. The indicator light on the charger will show charging status (typically red for charging, green for fully charged).
- A full charge takes approximately 4 hours.

4. Operating Instructions
The ESKUTE M200 offers multiple riding modes and smart features for a customized experience.
4.1 Powering On/Off and Display
- To power on the bike, press and hold the power button on the handlebar display.
- The LCD display will show speed, battery level, mileage, and current assist mode.
- To power off, press and hold the power button again.
4.2 Riding Modes
Select your preferred riding mode using the controls on the handlebar:
- Manual Mode: Ride as a traditional bicycle without motor assistance.
- Pedal-Assist Mode (PAS): The motor provides assistance as you pedal. Adjust the assist level (typically 1-5) using the '+' and '-' buttons on the display. Higher levels provide more power.
- Throttle-Only Mode: Engage the throttle for motor power without pedaling.
- Walk Mode: Provides low-speed assistance for walking the bike, useful when pushing it uphill.

4.3 Gear Shifting
The 21-speed Shimano gear system allows you to adapt to various terrains. Use the gear shifters on the handlebars to change gears smoothly. Shift to lower gears for climbing hills and higher gears for flat terrain or descents.

4.4 NFC Unlock System
The ESKUTE M200 features an NFC card unlock system for keyless operation. Simply tap the NFC card to the designated area on the display to unlock and activate the bike.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your ESKUTE M200 Electric Mountain Bike.
5.1 General Care

- NFC unlock not working: Ensure the NFC card is correctly placed over the sensor. Check for any obstructions or damage to the card or sensor.
