3. Setup and Installation
Before installation, ensure your door is compatible with an EU profile cylinder and has a thickness between 50mm and 100mm. The installation process involves replacing your existing cylinder with the WELOCK ToucA71.
3.1 Compatibility Check:
- The lock is designed for EU profile cylinders.
- Not compatible with UK Oval Cylinders or Swiss Round Cylinders.
- Suitable for covered doors and interior doors. Not recommended for outdoor garden doors.

3.2 Installation Steps:
- Remove Existing Cylinder: Unscrew the fixing screw on the side of your door that holds the current cylinder in place. Insert the key and turn it slightly to remove the cylinder.
- Adjust Lock Length: The WELOCK ToucA71 is adjustable. Loosen the screw on the inner knob to adjust its length to match your door thickness.
- Insert New Cylinder: Insert the WELOCK ToucA71 cylinder into the door. Ensure it is flush with the door surface on both sides.
- Secure Cylinder: Re-insert and tighten the fixing screw on the side of the door to secure the WELOCK ToucA71.
- Install Handles: Attach the inner and outer handles. Ensure they are firmly in place.
- Test Functionality: After installation, test all unlocking methods (fingerprint, passcode, mechanical key) to ensure the lock operates smoothly.
4. Operating Instructions
The WELOCK ToucA71 offers multiple convenient ways to unlock your door.
4.1 Fingerprint Unlocking:
- Enrollment: Refer to the WELOCK app instructions for enrolling administrator and user fingerprints. Up to 10 administrators and 190 general users can be registered.
- Unlocking: Place your registered finger firmly on the fingerprint sensor. The lock will emit a sound and unlock if the fingerprint is recognized.
4.2 Passcode Unlocking:
- Setting Passcode: Use the WELOCK app to set and manage passcodes.
- Unlocking: Enter your registered passcode on the keypad. The lock will unlock upon correct entry.
- Anti-Peeping Function: To prevent others from guessing your passcode, you can enter random digits before or after your actual passcode. For example, if your passcode is 123456, you can enter 987123456012. The lock will recognize the embedded correct sequence.
4.3 RFID Card Unlocking:
- Registering Cards: Use the WELOCK app to register the included RFID cards.
- Unlocking: Hold a registered RFID card near the lock's sensor. The lock will unlock when the card is recognized.
4.4 Smartphone App Control:
- Download App: Download the WELOCK app from your device's app store (iOS and Android compatible).
- Pairing: Follow the in-app instructions to pair your smartphone with the ToucA71 lock via Bluetooth.
- Features: The app allows you to unlock the door, manage users (add/delete fingerprints, passcodes, RFID cards), view access logs, and configure settings.
- Remote Access: For remote unlocking and management over Wi-Fi, a separate WELOCK Wi-Fi Box 3 is required.

4.5 Mechanical Key Unlocking:
- In case of battery depletion or electronic malfunction, use one of the two provided mechanical emergency keys to unlock the door.
- Insert the key into the keyhole on the outer knob and turn to unlock.
4.6 Auto-Lock Function:
- The lock is equipped with an auto-lock feature that automatically re-locks the door after 7-15 seconds of being unlocked.
- This feature enhances security by ensuring the door is always locked after entry or exit.
