Operating Instructions

Locating Items

  • Nearby Search: Open the Google Find Hub app. It will display your distance from the Air Tracker within its Bluetooth range (up to 120 feet), helping you narrow down your search.
  • Sound Alert: If the item is nearby but out of sight, use the app to activate the tracker's built-in speaker. It emits an 80-100 dB buzzer sound, making it easier to find items in cluttered spaces like under furniture or in bags.
  • Global Tracking: Leverage the vast network of Android devices to locate your items worldwide, even if they are far away. The Find Hub app will show the last known location on a map.

Sharing Devices

You can share your Air Tracker tags with other users through the Google Find My Device app. This allows multiple individuals to view the item's location on a map, which is useful for shared items like car keys or family luggage.

Privacy and Security

Your data is protected. The Find My Device app utilizes encrypted and anonymous networks. Location data and history are not stored, and Google cannot access them, ensuring your privacy.

Maintenance

Battery Replacement

The Ajblg Android Air Tracker uses a replaceable CR2032 coin cell battery, which typically lasts up to 1 year. To replace the battery:

  1. Gently twist open the back cover of the tracker.
  2. Remove the old CR2032 battery.
  3. Insert a new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
  4. Securely close the back cover.

Note: Battery life may vary based on temperature and usage frequency.

Water Resistance

The Air Tracker is IP68 certified, meaning it is resistant to dust and can withstand submersion in water up to 1.5 meters for up to 30 minutes. It is suitable for outdoor activities and humid environments, but prolonged submersion or use in extreme conditions is not recommended.

Troubleshooting

  • Device Not Powering On: Ensure the CR2032 battery is correctly installed and has sufficient charge. Try replacing the battery with a new one.
  • Cannot Connect to Phone: Verify that your Android phone is running Android 9 or above and has Bluetooth enabled. Make sure the Google Find Hub app is installed and updated. Place the tracker close to your phone during pairing.
  • Inaccurate Location or No Updates: Location accuracy depends on the density of Android devices in the network. Ensure your phone's location services are enabled. If the tracker is out of Bluetooth range, its location updates rely on other Android devices passing by.
  • Low Alert Volume: The tracker's buzzer volume is designed to be audible in close proximity. If you find it too quiet, try to reduce ambient noise or search in a quieter environment.
  • Tracker Slips Out of Holder: If using the silicone protector, ensure the tracker is securely seated. If it consistently slips, consider alternative attachment methods or a more snug case.
