Introduction

This manual provides essential instructions for the safe operation and maintenance of your CHUBORY X10 PRO Drone. Please read thoroughly before first use.

Safety Precautions

To avoid injury, operate the drone in strict accordance with these instructions. Always abide by local regulations and use the drone in open airspace, away from crowds and obstacles.

Setup

1. Charging the Batteries

Use the original charging cable. Keep batteries away from fire or flammable materials during charging.

The red indicator light on the battery illuminates during charging and turns off when fully charged. Charging time is approximately 360 minutes. Do not overcharge.

2. Charging the Controller

Use the original charging cable. Keep away from fire or flammable materials during charging.

The green indicator light on the controller illuminates during charging and turns off when fully charged. Charging time is approximately 40 minutes. Do not overcharge.

3. Propeller Installation

Check propellers for damage or deformation. Replace if necessary.

Install propeller blades according to the letter markings (A or B) on the blades and drone arms. A blades install on A arms, B blades install on B arms.

4. Install Battery and Unfold Drone Arms

Install the charged battery into the drone. Carefully unfold all drone arms until they lock into position.

5. Download and Install the App

Scan the QR code in the instruction manual to download and install the CHUBORY GPS app on your smartphone.

6. Connect the Controller

Orient the drone's head and controller in the same direction. Long-press the power button on the controller to turn it on. It will automatically connect to the drone.

Calibration

1. Gyroscope Calibration

Place the drone on a level surface with the controller and the front of the drone pointing in the same direction. Press the calibration button on the controller. The drone's indicator light will flash rapidly and then stay lit, indicating calibration is complete.

2. Geomagnetic Calibration

Press the geomagnetic calibration button on the controller. The controller will emit a beeping sound while the drone's indicator light flashes rapidly.

Hold the drone in your hand and rotate it clockwise slowly three times in a horizontal direction. When the controller emits a beep, the horizontal calibration is complete.

Next, with the drone's head facing downwards, rotate it slowly clockwise three times. When the controller emits two beeps, the geomagnetic calibration is complete.

3. Switch Indoor or Outdoor Mode

Switch between indoor and outdoor modes by pressing and holding the GPS button on the controller.

If you choose indoor mode, you can use the drone after completing gyroscope and geomagnetic calibration.

If you select outdoor mode, you will need to wait for the GPS signal search to finish after completing gyroscope and geomagnetic calibration before using the drone.

4. Search for GPS Signal

In outdoor mode, place the drone on an open and level surface outdoors. The drone will automatically search for GPS signals.

When the GPS signal strength exceeds 9, the drone indicator lights and the outdoor mode indicator light will change from a slow flash to a solid light. At this point, you can unlock and use the drone.

Basic Flight Operations

1. Unlock

Press the Unlock button on the controller. The drone will unlock with the propellers starting to spin. If there is no operation within 10 seconds, the drone will automatically lock.

2. Left Joystick Controls

• Push up: Drone flies upward.
• Push down: Drone flies downward.
• Push left: Drone turns left.
• Push right: Drone turns right.

3. Right Joystick Controls

• Push up: Drone flies forward.
• Push down: Drone flies backward.
• Push left: Drone flies to the left.
• Push right: Drone flies to the right.

4. Hover

Release all joysticks, and the drone will hover in place.

5. High/Low Speed

Press the Speed button on the controller. One beep indicates Low Speed, two beeps indicate High Speed.

6. One-Click Return

Press the Return Button on the controller, and the drone will automatically fly back to the home point. The drone's position is set as the home point when the GPS signal reaches 9 for the first time.

7. Automatic Return

When the drone loses connection with the controller or when the battery level falls below a safe threshold, the drone will automatically return to the home point.

Taking Photos and Videos

1. Taking a Photo

Click the Taking Photo icon in the APP to take a photo.

2. Shooting a Video

Click the Recording icon in the APP to shoot a video.

3. Switching Camera

Click on the Switch Camera icon in the APP to switch between different camera combinations.

4. Adjusting the Camera Angle

Slide the Camera Angle Adjustment knob to adjust the angle of the front camera 90° up and down.

5. Gesture Photo and Video

About 2m in front of the drone, hold the gesture for 3 seconds. Make YEAH gesture to take photos.

Make PALM gesture to shoot video. Make the same gesture again, and the recording will end.

Using Your Phone to Control the Drone

Tips

Some phones may require you to keep the cellular network turned off in order to control the drone via the app.

1. Connect Your Phone

Turn off the cellular network of the phone, then turn on the WLAN of the phone, select and connect the WLAN starting with CBR-DRONE.

2. Calibration

Open the app and click "Calibrate" to perform the calibration.

3. Turn on Rocker

After completing the calibration, click on the Rocker ON/OFF icon to activate Rocker mode.

4. APP Operation Interface

This interface displays various flight controls and information, including:

• WiFi, Satellite, Geomagnetic interference, Battery status
• Optical flow mode/GPS mode
• VR, Clarity settings
• Take photos, Record videos
• Rocker on/off, Speed settings
• Take-off/landing, Unlock
• Trajectory flight/waypoint flight
• GPS tracking/host tracking
• Palm control, Surrounding flight
• One-click return
• Switch to map

5. Way-point Flight

Click on the waypoint flight icon, select waypoints on the map, upload the commands, and the drone will fly according to that path.

6. Surround Flight

Click on the Surround Flight icon, select clockwise or counterclockwise orbit, upload the commands, and the drone will perform a surround flight with its current position as the center in the chosen direction.

7. Follow Me Mode

Click the "Follow Me" mode icon to activate the Follow Me mode.

Please stay 2 meters ahead of the drone and the drone will automatically recognize you (in the blue box).

Click on you as the following target in the blue box on the phone screen, and the blue box will turn into a red box.

The drone will lock you in the red box and automatically follow you.

8. GPS Follow Mode

Click the GPS Follow icon to activate GPS Follow Mode, and the drone will automatically follow your mobile phone for flight.
