6. Maintenance

  1. Cleaning the Filter Sponge: The steam plate contains a filter sponge that collects loose fibers and lint. Depending on usage frequency, it needs to be cleaned every 3 to 6 months. If you notice reduced suction power, open the side slot of the steam plate, remove the filter sponge, rinse it with water, let it dry completely, and then reinstall it. Press the steam plate to ensure it's securely in place.
  2. Descaling: Regular use of distilled or purified water minimizes mineral buildup. If hard water is used, descaling may be required periodically. Consult the manufacturer's website or support for specific descaling instructions.
  3. Storage: After use, ensure the steamer is cool and empty the water tank. Store it in the provided storage bag in a cool, dry place.

7. Troubleshooting

  • No Steam: Check if the water tank is filled and properly attached. Ensure the device is fully preheated (solid red light).
  • Water Leakage/Splashing: Ensure the water tank stopper is securely closed and the tank is correctly seated. Use distilled water to prevent mineral buildup that can cause blockages.
  • Reduced Suction Power: Clean the filter sponge as described in the Maintenance section.
  • Device Not Turning On: Check if the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet. Ensure a long press is used for power on.
