4. Initial Setup

4.1 Unboxing and Component Identification
- Carefully unbox all packages, starting with the Lawn Mower Module and Yarbo Core packages.
- Identify all main components and accessories as listed in Section 3.
- Remove the cover from the YARBO Core unit to access the physical controller and other accessories.
4.2 Attaching the Lawn Mower Module
- Place the Module Vertical Stand on the Lawn Mower Module.
- Raise the Lawn Mower Module from the side to access the blade area.
- Unscrew the Cutting Blades Bolts using the provided Allen Key.
- Install the straight blades: Each blade is labeled L (Left) or R (Right). Ensure the side marked "This side facing grass" faces toward you. Align the Screw Protection Cover with the mounting holes on the straight blade. Insert and tighten the Straight Blade Bolts to secure the blade in place. Apply the same procedure to the other side.
- Rotate the Lawn Mower Pro back to its upright position.
- Pull the Lawn Mower Pro Module close to the YARBO Core.
- Carefully insert the cable into the port on the Lawn Mower Pro Module.
- Slightly push the Lawn Mower Pro Module towards the YARBO Core until it connects securely.
- Install the Plastic Connector Cover onto the connection part of the Lawn Mower Pro.
5. Installation
5.1 Data Center Installation
The Data Center is crucial for the YARBO's RTK navigation. A 120° unobstructed view of the sky is key for optimal performance.

- Thread the 30-meter ethernet cable through the extension pole and standard pole.
- Connect the Data Center to the extension pole, ensuring the small button aligns with the hole in the pole.
- Unscrew the gland on the WAN port of the Data Center, remove the black rubber plug, and thread the ethernet cable through it. Snap the rubber plug back onto the cable for a snug fit.
- Connect the ethernet cable to the WAN port on the Data Center and screw the gland cover back on securely.
- Fasten the connection bolt to secure the Data Center to the extension pole.
- Press the ethernet cable into the crevice of the T-joint.
- Connect the extension pole to the T-joint by pressing the round button and aligning it with the hole in the pole. Repeat for the standard pole.
- Secure all connections with the provided connection bolts for stability.
- Install the antennas: You'll find three antennas in your Yarbo Core box. Attach them securely.
- Fold the HaLow and Bluetooth antennas at a 90-degree angle, pointing them upwards. Use the HaLow antenna clips to snap them onto the Data Center and tighten the clevis pin to lock them in place.
- Position the mount on your roof or any flat surface with a 120° unobstructed view of the sky. Mark spots for four holes and drill them out.
- Thread the ethernet cable through the middle hole or a gap in the pole and secure the mount using appropriate screws or bolts based on your surface.
5.2 Mower Module Installation

- Remove the battery cover from the YARBO Core unit.
- Place the battery into the designated compartment.
- Connect the cable from the YARBO Core to the battery.

- Remove the red screw cap and rubber rings on the RTK Antenna Mounts.
- Take out the High RTK Antennas and align them with the connection shaft on YARBO Core. Straighten the RTK Antenna Mount.
- Insert the six RTK Antenna Mount Bolts provided in the package and tighten them with Allen Key #2.
- Remove the white screw cap on the HaLow Antenna Mount. Keep the black rubber ring in for waterproofing.
- Locate the HaLow Antenna and screw the antenna into the HaLow Antenna Mount until hand tight.
- Lift the Emergency Stop Button.
- Remove the rear cover.
- Press the activate button to turn on YARBO.
- Place back the rear cover.
