Setup
1. Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the camera using the provided power cable. Connect the cable to the camera's USB-C port and a 5V power adapter (not included). The charging indicator light will show the charging status.
2. App Installation
Download the 'Wansview Cloud' app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). Create an account and log in.

3. Wi-Fi Connection
- Open the Wansview Cloud app and tap 'Add Device'.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your camera to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Note: This camera does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi.
- Ensure the camera is within 8 meters of your Wi-Fi router during the connection process.
- Press and hold the power and reset button for 6 seconds until the indicator light flashes red and blue alternately, then proceed with app pairing.
4. Mounting the Camera
The camera supports wall, ceiling, or table mounting. Choose a location with good solar exposure for the integrated panel and strong 2.4GHz Wi-Fi signal.
- Use the provided mounting template to mark drill holes.
- Secure the base bracket to the desired surface.
- Attach the camera to the bracket and adjust the angle for optimal viewing.

Operating the Camera
1. Live View and Recording
Access the live feed through the Wansview Cloud app. You can manually record video or capture screenshots directly from the live view.
2. PIR Detection & Instant Alerts
The highly sensitive PIR sensor detects motion, specifically human movement, to reduce false alarms. Upon detection, the camera sends real-time notifications to your mobile phone. An alarm can also be triggered to deter unwanted visitors.

Troubleshooting
- Camera Not Connecting to Wi-Fi:
Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. The camera does not support 5GHz. Check Wi-Fi signal strength at the camera's location. Move the camera closer to the router during setup. Reset the camera and try pairing again. - Frequent False Alarms:
Adjust the PIR detection sensitivity in the app. Define custom detection zones to exclude areas with frequent non-human movement (e.g., trees swaying). - Poor Night Vision:
