Safety Instructions

  • Ensure the main power supply is disconnected before installation or maintenance.
  • Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with local wiring regulations.
  • The mounting structure must be capable of supporting the fan's weight (approximately 5.9 kg).
  • Do not connect the fan to a dimmer switch.
  • Ensure blades are at least 2.3 meters (7.5 feet) from the floor and 0.5 meters (1.6 feet) from any wall or obstruction.
  • This fan is designed for indoor use only.
  • Do not insert objects into the path of the blades while the fan is operating.

Setup (Installation)

Follow these steps for proper installation. Professional installation is recommended.

  1. Turn Off Power: Before starting, ensure the power to the ceiling fan circuit is turned off at the main electrical panel.
  2. Mounting Bracket Installation: Secure the mounting bracket to the ceiling junction box. Ensure the bracket is firmly attached and can support the fan's weight.
  3. Downrod Assembly: Choose the desired downrod length (10cm or 20cm). Feed the electrical wires from the fan motor through the downrod. Attach the downrod to the fan motor housing.
  4. Hanging the Fan: Carefully lift the fan assembly and hang it onto the mounting bracket hook. This will free your hands for wiring.
  5. Wiring Connections: Connect the fan's electrical wires to the household wiring according to the wiring diagram provided in the full manual. Ensure all connections are secure and insulated with wire nuts.
  6. Securing the Fan: Once wiring is complete, carefully lift the fan off the hook and secure it to the mounting bracket using the provided screws. Ensure all connections are tight.
  7. Canopy Installation: Slide the canopy up to the ceiling and secure it to cover the wiring and mounting bracket.
  8. Blade Attachment: The fan features retractable blades that are integrated into the design. No separate blade attachment is required.

Operating Instructions

Your NARVI Moraira Ceiling Fan is operated using the included remote control.

NARVI Moraira Ceiling Fan remote control features, including 6 speeds, retractable blades, memory function, and timer.

Remote Control Functions:

  • Power On/Off: Press the power button to turn the fan and light on or off.
  • Fan Speed: Use the speed buttons (1-6) to adjust the fan's rotation speed. There are 6 available speeds.
  • Light Control:
    • Press the light button to turn the LED light on or off.
    • Adjust the light intensity and color temperature (3000K-6500K) using the dedicated buttons on the remote.
  • Winter/Summer Function: Press the dedicated button to switch between modes.
    • Summer Mode: Blades rotate counter-clockwise, creating a downward airflow for a cooling effect.
    • Winter Mode: Blades rotate clockwise, creating an upward airflow to circulate warm air trapped near the ceiling.
  • Timer Function: Set the fan to turn off automatically after 2, 4, or 8 hours using the timer buttons.
  • Memory Function: The fan remembers the last light setting (intensity and color temperature) when turned off via the remote control. If turned off via a wall switch, the memory may reset.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your ceiling fan.

  • Cleaning: Always turn off the power before cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the fan housing and blades. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Blade Balance: If the fan wobbles, check that all blade screws are tight. Minor wobbling is normal, but excessive movement may indicate an imbalance.
  • Light Source: The integrated LED light source is designed for long life. If replacement is needed, contact a qualified technician or NARVI support.
  • Remote Control: Replace batteries in the remote control when its range decreases or it stops responding.
