2. Pressure Relief Valve Installation

  1. Unpack the temperature and pressure (T&P) relief valve.
  2. Wrap Teflon tape around the threaded openings of the T&P safety valve at least 15 times to ensure a watertight seal.
  3. Install the T&P valve onto the designated port on the top of the water heater. Tighten securely with a wrench.

3. Pipe Connection Installation

  1. Shut off the main cold water supply to the installation area.
  2. Remove the existing cold water line fitting from your faucet. Pay attention to any pipe seals.
  3. Install the provided three-way valve to the cold water line where the old fitting was removed. Ensure pipe seals are correctly in place.
  4. Connect the water inlet pipe (blue hose) from the water heater to the three-way valve. Tighten securely.
  5. Connect the faucet hot water connection pipe (red hose) to the hot water outlet fitting on the water heater. Tighten securely.
  6. Attach the plastic pagoda fitting to the T&P relief valve.
  7. Plug the drain hose (clear pipe) into the pagoda fitting.
  8. Connect the other end of the drain hose to a suitable downspout or drain.

4. Initial Water Fill and Air Removal

  1. Open the cold water valve to allow water to flow into the water heater.
  2. Open the hot water faucet at the sink to fill the water heater with water and allow any trapped air to escape. Let the water run until a steady stream of water flows from the faucet, indicating all air has been purged.
  3. Turn off the hot water faucet.

IMPORTANT: Ensure the water heater is completely filled with water and all air is exhausted before plugging in the power supply. Operating the unit dry will cause damage and void the warranty.

Operating Instructions

  1. Plug the water heater into a standard 120V (110V) outlet.
  2. The temperature range for this unit is 55°F to 145°F.
  3. To increase the water temperature, turn the control knob clockwise.
  4. To decrease the water temperature, turn the control knob counter-clockwise.
  5. If the indicator light does not come on, turn the control knob clockwise until it illuminates.
  6. The indicator light will remain on while the water is heating and will turn off once the water temperature reaches the thermostat setting.
  7. As soon as the water temperature in the tank drops below the thermostat setting, the light will come back on, indicating the unit is reheating.

  • Clean Exterior: Clean the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  • Glass-Lined Tank: The unit features a glass-lined tank designed to reduce scale adhesion, contributing to a longer service life.
  • PUF Layer: The integrated PUF (Polyurethane Foam) layer helps lock in temperature, reducing heating frequency and saving energy.
