Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the assembly, operation, and maintenance of your INJORA BUG18 Body and LCG Aluminum Universal Chassis. This product is designed as an upgrade for 1/18 RC Crawler TRX4M models, enhancing performance and aesthetics. Please read these instructions carefully before beginning assembly or operation.

The chassis is compatible with lay down servos and stock servos, and various 1/18 TRX4M stock bodies (Defender, Bronco, High Trail K10, F150), as well as INJORA IR40, IR60, and BUG18 bodies. Note that the BUG18 body is specifically designed for the INJORA TRX4M Universal LCG Chassis (4M-89, 4M-111) and is not compatible with stock 1/18 TRX4M chassis.

Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your INJORA BUG18 Body and LCG Aluminum Universal Chassis:

1. Chassis Assembly: Begin by assembling the LCG aluminum universal chassis according to the provided diagrams. Ensure all screws are tightened securely. The chassis is designed to accommodate lay down servos and stock servos.
2. Body Preparation: The BUG18 body is made from durable PC material, with the interior and roll cage molded from nylon. Attach the nylon roll cage to the body.
3. Headlight Installation: The body is equipped with white headlights for illumination. These are optional. If not installing, cover the headlight areas with the provided stickers. For installation, you may need to drill and glue the light pods into place.
4. Decal Application: Apply the INJORA detailed scale stickers as desired for customization.
5. Body Mounting: The front of the body is secured with a magnetic mount, while the rear is fastened with R-clips for easy removal and access to internal components.
6. Motor Compatibility: The chassis supports 1721/2204 brushless motors without requiring interior modifications.

Operating Instructions

Once assembled, connect your RC crawler's electronics (motor, ESC, receiver, battery) to the chassis. The LCG (Low Center of Gravity) design of this chassis changes the layout of the car, contributing to stronger climbing ability and improved stability during off-road maneuvers. The classic Bug styling provides a retro off-road look.

Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your INJORA BUG18 body and chassis, regular maintenance is recommended:

• Cleaning: After each use, especially in dusty or muddy conditions, clean the body and chassis to remove dirt, debris, and moisture. Use a soft brush or cloth.
• Inspection: Periodically inspect all screws, magnetic mounts, R-clips, and other connections for tightness. Re-tighten any loose fasteners. Check the body and roll cage for any signs of damage or cracks.
• Storage: Store your RC crawler in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your INJORA BUG18 body or LCG chassis, consider the following:

• Body Not Fitting: Ensure you are using the INJORA TRX4M Universal LCG Chassis (4M-89, 4M-111). The BUG18 body is not compatible with stock 1/18 TRX4M chassis.
• Loose Components: Check all screws and mounting points. Refer to the assembly instructions to confirm correct installation.
• Headlight Issues: Verify wiring connections if headlights are not functioning. Ensure they are properly glued if installed.
