1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the TRESKO 3-Ton Hydraulic Floor Jack. This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your new hydraulic jack. Please read this manual thoroughly before use and retain it for future reference.

This TRESKO hydraulic jack is designed for lifting vehicles up to 3000 kg (3 tons) safely and reliably. Its flat design allows for use with vehicles with low ground clearance, while its wide lifting range accommodates higher chassis. The dual-piston technology ensures efficient and powerful lifting, making it suitable for a variety of vehicles including small cars, sedans, SUVs, vans, sports cars, and electric vehicles.

2. Safety Information

WARNING: Failure to follow these safety instructions may result in serious injury or property damage.

  • Read the Manual: Always read and understand this entire manual before operating the hydraulic jack.
  • Use on Level Surface: Operate the jack only on a hard, level, and stable surface. Avoid uneven ground or soft surfaces.
  • Secure the Vehicle: Before lifting, ensure the vehicle is in park (P), the parking brake is engaged, and the wheels not being lifted are chocked.
  • Do Not Exceed Capacity: Never exceed the rated lifting capacity of 3000 kg (3 tons).
  • Use Jack Stands: This hydraulic jack is a lifting device only. Immediately after lifting, support the vehicle with appropriate jack stands before performing any work underneath. Never work under a vehicle supported only by a hydraulic jack.
  • Proper Lifting Points: Always use the vehicle manufacturer's recommended lifting points. Use the included rubber pads to protect the vehicle's chassis.
  • Keep Clear: Keep hands, feet, and other body parts clear of moving parts and the area under the vehicle during lifting and lowering.
  • Wear Protective Gear: Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including safety gloves and eye protection.
  • Inspect Before Use: Before each use, inspect the jack for any damage, leaks, or worn parts. Do not use if damaged.
  • Lower Slowly: Lower the vehicle slowly and in a controlled manner.
  • Children and Pets: Keep children and pets away from the work area.

4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking and Initial Inspection

  1. Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Inspect the jack and all accessories for any signs of damage during transit. If any damage is found, do not use the product and contact customer support.
  3. Ensure all listed package contents are present.

4.2 Assembling the Lifting Bar

  1. The lifting bar comes in two sections. Connect the two sections by inserting one into the other until they securely lock.
  2. Insert the assembled lifting bar into the handle socket on the jack. Ensure it is fully seated.

4.3 Bleeding the Hydraulic System (Initial Use)

Before first use, or if the jack has been stored for a long time, it is recommended to bleed any air from the hydraulic system:

  1. Turn the release valve (located at the base of the handle socket) counter-clockwise one full turn to open it.
  2. Pump the lifting bar 10-15 full strokes to force any trapped air out of the system.
  3. Turn the release valve clockwise until it is firmly closed.
  4. The jack should now operate smoothly. If not, repeat the bleeding process.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Preparing for Lift

  1. Park the vehicle on a hard, level surface.
  2. Engage the parking brake and place the transmission in "Park" (automatic) or a low gear (manual).
  3. Chock the wheels that will remain on the ground to prevent accidental movement.
  4. Consult your vehicle's owner's manual to locate the approved lifting points.
  5. Select the appropriate rubber pad for your vehicle's lifting point (one for older vehicles with a pinch weld, one for vehicles without a specific lifting point or with a flat contact area). Place the chosen rubber pad onto the jack's saddle.

5.2 Lifting the Vehicle

  1. Position the jack directly under the vehicle's designated lifting point. Ensure the rubber pad is correctly seated.
  2. Ensure the release valve is fully closed by turning it clockwise.
  3. Pump the lifting bar up and down to raise the jack. Continue pumping until the vehicle is lifted to the desired height.
  4. Once the vehicle is lifted, immediately place appropriately rated jack stands under the vehicle at the manufacturer's recommended support points.
  5. Slowly lower the vehicle onto the jack stands by gently turning the release valve counter-clockwise. Once the vehicle is securely resting on the jack stands, remove the hydraulic jack.

5.3 Lowering the Vehicle

  1. If the vehicle is on jack stands, position the hydraulic jack under the lifting point again and raise the vehicle slightly to clear the jack stands.
  2. Remove the jack stands.
  3. Slowly and carefully turn the release valve counter-clockwise to lower the vehicle. Control the lowering speed by adjusting how much you open the valve.
  4. Once the vehicle is fully lowered, remove the hydraulic jack.

6. Maintenance

6.1 General Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Keep the jack clean and free of dirt, grease, and debris. Wipe down with a clean cloth after each use.
  • Lubrication: Periodically lubricate all moving parts and pivot points with light machine oil.
  • Inspection: Regularly inspect the jack for any signs of wear, damage, or leaks. Pay close attention to the hydraulic cylinder, hoses, and seals.

6.2 Hydraulic Fluid Level Check and Refill

The hydraulic fluid level should be checked periodically, or if the jack's performance degrades.

  1. Ensure the jack is fully lowered and on a level surface.
  2. Locate the oil filler plug (usually a rubber plug on the side of the reservoir).
  3. Remove the plug. The fluid level should be just below the filler hole.
  4. If low, refill with a high-quality hydraulic jack oil. Do not overfill.
  5. Replace the filler plug securely.

6.3 Storage

When not in use, store the hydraulic jack in a clean, dry place with the ram fully retracted (jack fully lowered) to prevent corrosion and extend seal life.
