4. Assembly

5.2 Starting the Engine

  2. Set Choke: Move the choke lever to the "FULL CHOKE" position.
  3. Ignition Switch: Ensure the ignition switch is in the "ON" position.
  4. Pull Starter Cord: Hold the blower firmly on a flat surface. Pull the starter cord with a smooth, steady motion until the engine attempts to start (usually 1-3 pulls).
  5. Adjust Choke: Once the engine "pops" or attempts to start, move the choke lever to the "HALF CHOKE" position.
  6. Restart: Pull the starter cord again until the engine starts.
  7. Warm-up: Allow the engine to run for a few moments to warm up, then move the choke lever to the "RUN" position.
