This manual provides detailed instructions for setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal use of your keyboard.

Setup

1. Connectivity

The AULA S75 Pro supports three connection modes: USB-C wired, 2.4GHz wireless, and Bluetooth 5.0. Use the switch located on the side of the keyboard to select your desired mode.

  • USB-C Wired: Connect the provided USB-C cable to the keyboard and your device.
  • 2.4GHz Wireless: Insert the 2.4GHz dongle (located in a slot on the back of the keyboard) into your device's USB port. Switch the keyboard to 2.4G mode.
  • Bluetooth 5.0: Switch the keyboard to BT mode. The keyboard can store up to five Bluetooth devices. Refer to your device's Bluetooth settings to pair.

2. Software Installation (Windows Only)

To unlock full customization features, including macro programming, RGB lighting effects, and screen customization, download and install the AULA S75 Pro driver software. This software is compatible with Windows operating systems only and requires a wired connection during setup.

  • Ensure your keyboard is connected via USB-C cable to your Windows PC.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to install the software.

3. Screen Customization (GIF, Date/Time)

The LCD screen can display battery status, date and time, operating system, GIF images, volume, and backlight effects. To customize GIF images or calibrate date and time, you must use the driver software on a Windows system with a wired connection.

  • Open the S75 Pro driver software.
  • Navigate to the 'TFT Screen' section.
  • Use the 'Time Sync' button to calibrate the date and time.
  • Use the 'Import' function to upload custom GIF images.

Operating

1. Basic Keyboard Functions

The 75% compact layout retains essential keys including arrow keys and a function row (F1-F12). Standard typing functions operate as expected.

2. RGB Backlight Control

The keyboard features 19 RGB lighting effects, over 16.8 million colors, and side lighting. Control is available via shortcut keys, the multi-function knob, or the programmable software.

  • FN + Z: Switch Ambient Light Mode
  • FN + SHIFT: Switch Light Bar Mode
  • FN + /?: Switch Color of Light Bar

  • FN + ↑ / ↓: Backlight Brightness +/-

3. Multi-function Knob

The multi-function knob allows for quick adjustments to various keyboard settings.

  • Adjust LCD Display (Default): Turn the knob to select a section on the LCD screen, then press to confirm.
  • Adjust Volume: Long press the FN + knob combination to switch to volume control. Turn the knob to adjust volume. Long press FN + knob again to return to default settings.

4. Hot-swapping Switches and Keycaps

The keyboard features a hot-swappable base compatible with 3-pin or 5-pin switches. The keycap/switch puller is included for easy customization.

  • To Remove Keycaps: Use the keycap puller to gently lift keycaps off the switches.
  • To Remove Switches: Use the switch puller to carefully grip and pull the switch from the PCB.
  • To Install Switches: Align the pins of the new switch with the holes on the PCB and press down firmly until it clicks into place. Ensure the keyboard power is off when replacing switches.
  • To Install Keycaps: Align the keycap with the switch stem and press down gently.

5. Programmable Macros

The S75 Pro driver software allows for macro customization, enabling you to record and edit macros to enhance efficiency in work or gaming. This feature is available only on Windows systems in wired mode.

  • Open the S75 Pro driver software.
  • Navigate to the 'Macro Manager' section.
  • Record new macros or edit existing ones.
  • Assign macros to any key (except the knob) for quick execution.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

Regular cleaning helps maintain the keyboard's performance and appearance. Use the provided cleaning brush and cloth to remove dust and debris.

  • Gently brush away dust from between keycaps.
  • Use the cloth to wipe down the keycaps and keyboard surface.
  • For deeper cleaning, remove keycaps and switches as described in the 'Hot-swapping' section.

2. Battery Management

The keyboard is equipped with a 4000mAh lithium-ion battery. Battery life can vary based on RGB usage.

  • Charging: Connect the USB-C cable to charge the keyboard. The LCD screen will display battery status.
  • Battery Life: Approximately 30 hours with full RGB backlighting, up to 80 hours with backlighting off.
  • Sleep Mode: The keyboard features an adjustable sleep time to conserve battery when idle. This can be configured via the driver software.

Troubleshooting

  • Keyboard not connecting: Ensure the mode switch (BT, 2.4G, USB) is correctly set. For wireless modes, check battery level. For Bluetooth, ensure proper pairing. For 2.4GHz, ensure the dongle is securely inserted.
  • RGB lights not working/customizing: Check if backlighting is turned off via shortcut keys. Ensure driver software is installed and keyboard is in wired mode for advanced customization (Windows only).
  • LCD screen not updating/customizing: Ensure keyboard is in wired mode and connected to a Windows PC with the driver software installed for date/time calibration and GIF uploads.
  • Keys not responding: Check if switches are properly seated. If hot-swapping, ensure switches are fully inserted and the keyboard power was off during replacement.
