Setup

1. Powering the Main Unit

The main unit can be powered by either USB or batteries:

  • USB Power: Connect the included USB-C cable to the main unit and a 5V/1A USB power adapter (not included). When powered by USB, the backlight remains continuously on with 3 adjustable brightness levels.
  • Battery Power: Insert 3x AAA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment. When powered by batteries only, the backlight will activate for 10 seconds when the touch button is pressed.

2. Powering the Remote Sensors

Each of the 3 remote sensors requires 2x AAA batteries (not included). Insert them into the battery compartment of each sensor, ensuring correct polarity.

3. Sensor Pairing

After powering on, the main unit will automatically search for and connect to the remote sensors. Ensure sensors are within range (up to 100m/328ft in open air). If pairing fails, press and hold the "CH" button on the main unit to re-initiate the search.

4. Placement

Place the main unit indoors on a flat surface using its integrated stand or mount it on a wall. Position outdoor sensors in a sheltered location to protect them from direct sunlight and heavy rain, while ensuring good signal transmission to the main unit.

2. Temperature Unit Selection

Press the "°C/°F" button on the main unit to switch the temperature display between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F).

3. Weather Forecast Interpretation

The station analyzes atmospheric pressure changes to provide a 7-symbol weather forecast for the next 12-24 hours. The symbols include Sunny, Partly Cloudy, Overcast, Rain, Thunderstorm, Light Snow, and Heavy Snowfall.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the main unit and remote sensors with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or corrosive chemicals, as these may damage the components.
  • Battery Replacement: Replace batteries in the main unit and sensors when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Ensure correct polarity when inserting new batteries.
  • Sensor Protection: For outdoor sensors, ensure they are placed in a location protected from direct sunlight, heavy rain, and extreme weather conditions to prolong their lifespan and maintain accuracy.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your weather station, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • No Display / Blank Screen:
    • Check the power supply. Ensure batteries are correctly inserted or the USB cable is connected and powered.
    • Replace old batteries with new ones.
  • No Outdoor Sensor Reading:
    • Ensure sensors are within the wireless range (up to 100m/328ft line of sight) of the main unit.
    • Check the batteries in the remote sensors.
    • Re-pair sensors: Press and hold the "CH" button on the main unit to initiate a new search for sensors.
    • Avoid large metal objects or thick walls between the main unit and sensors, as these can interfere with the wireless signal.
  • Inaccurate Readings:
    • Ensure sensors are not in direct sunlight, near heat sources (e.g., vents, appliances), or in areas with high humidity fluctuations.
    • Allow sufficient time (e.g., 30 minutes) for readings to stabilize after initial setup or relocation.
  • Weather Forecast Inaccurate:
    • The weather forecast is based on atmospheric pressure changes and is an estimation for the next 12-24 hours. It may not always perfectly match official weather reports.
    • Allow 7-14 days for the station to calibrate and learn local atmospheric pressure patterns for more accurate forecasts.
