4. Setup

4.1 Powering On/Off

To power on the device, press and hold the Power button located on the unit until the screen illuminates. To power off, press and hold the Power button again until the screen turns off.

4.2 Charging the Device

Connect the provided USB Type-C charging cable to the charging port on the device and to a suitable USB power source. The battery indicator on the screen will show charging status. Ensure the device is fully charged before first use for optimal performance.

4.3 Inserting/Removing Micro SD Card

The 32GB Micro SD card is typically pre-installed. To remove or insert the card, locate the Micro SD card slot on the side of the device. Gently push the card until it clicks into place for insertion, or push again to eject it.

4.4 Attaching Accessories (Hook, Magnet)

The hook and magnet attachments can be screwed onto the tip of the borescope probe to assist in retrieving small objects or maneuvering the probe in certain situations. Ensure they are securely attached before use.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Operation and Navigation

The device features an intuitive button layout for easy navigation. Use the directional buttons (Up/Down) to navigate menus and the OK button to confirm selections. The Mode button allows switching between photo, video, and playback modes.

5.2 Articulation Control

The probe's two-way 210° articulation is controlled by a joystick on the handle. Gently move the joystick to bend the probe tip left or right, allowing you to inspect areas from different angles. Avoid aggressive movements to prevent damage.

5.3 Switching Lenses (Dual Lens Model)

Press the light button (sun icon) to cycle through different brightness levels of the LED lights on the probe tip. This helps illuminate dark areas for clearer visibility.

5.5 Capturing Photos and Videos

In Photo mode, press the shutter button (camera icon) to take a still picture. In Video mode, press the shutter button once to start recording and again to stop recording. All captured media is saved to the Micro SD card.

5.6 Zoom Function

Use the zoom buttons (magnifying glass icons) to digitally zoom in or out on the live feed or captured media for closer inspection of details.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Probe and Screen

After each use, especially in dirty or wet environments, gently wipe the camera probe with a soft, damp cloth. Ensure no debris obstructs the lenses or LED lights. Clean the 5-inch IPS display with a soft, dry microfiber cloth to remove fingerprints and smudges.

6.2 Storage

Store the borescope camera and all accessories in the provided carrying case when not in use. Ensure the probe is not sharply bent or kinked during storage to maintain its integrity.
