Setup

1. Battery Installation

1. Align the battery pack with the back of the radio.
2. Slide the battery pack upwards until it clicks securely into place.
3. To remove, press the release latch (if present) and slide the battery downwards.

2. Antenna Attachment

1. Carefully screw the antenna onto the connector at the top of the radio until it is finger-tight. Do not overtighten.

3. Power On/Off & Volume

Rotate the top knob clockwise to power on the radio and increase volume. Rotate counter-clockwise to decrease volume and power off.

4. Programming Channels

Operating Instructions

1. GMRS Transmission

To transmit on a GMRS channel, select the desired channel and press the Push-To-Talk (PTT) button on the side of the radio. Speak clearly into the microphone. Release the PTT button to listen.

2. Dual PTT Function
