The Insoma 3-Zone Sprinkler Timer is designed to simplify your garden watering tasks. With three independent outlets, you can customize watering schedules for different areas of your garden, lawn, or pool area, ensuring optimal hydration while conserving water. This manual will guide you through the installation, programming, and maintenance of your new water timer.
Setup Instructions
1. Battery Installation
The Insoma 3-Zone Sprinkler Timer requires 2 x 1.5V AA alkaline batteries (not included). Ensure the battery compartment is securely sealed after installation to maintain its IP55 waterproof rating.
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the timer.
- Open the compartment and insert 2 AA alkaline batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment firmly to ensure a watertight seal.
- A low battery warning will appear on the screen when batteries need replacement. The timer will automatically shut off before power outage to prevent uncontrolled water flow.

2. Connecting to Faucet
The timer features a 360° rotatable brass inlet for easy and secure connection to your outdoor faucet. It includes a built-in metal filter and thread sealing tape for a leak-proof connection.
- Ensure your faucet is turned off before connecting the timer.
- Inspect the brass inlet for the pre-installed metal filter and sealing washer.
- Apply the provided thread sealing tape to the faucet threads for an extra secure, leak-proof connection.
- Screw the timer's brass inlet onto your outdoor faucet. Hand-tighten firmly. The 360° rotation allows for optimal positioning.
- Connect your garden hoses to the three independent outlets at the bottom of the timer.
- Slowly turn on your faucet to check for any leaks.

Operating Instructions
The large LCD screen and intuitive controls make programming your watering schedules straightforward. Use the central dial and +/- buttons to navigate and adjust settings.
1. Setting the Clock
- Rotate the dial to "SET CLOCK".
- Use the "+" or "-" buttons to choose between 12H or 24H format. Press "OK" to confirm.
- Adjust the hour and minutes using the "+" or "-" buttons. Press "OK" to toggle between hours, minutes, or formats.
- Rotate the dial to save changes and move to the next setting.
2. Programming Automatic Watering Schedules
Each of the 3 zones can be programmed independently. Use the "ZONE" button to select the desired zone (1, 2, or 3) before setting its schedule.
- Select Zone: Press the "ZONE" button to select Zone 1, 2, or 3. The selected zone number will be highlighted on the LCD.
- Set Start Time: Rotate the dial to "START TIME". Use the "+" or "-" buttons to set the desired start time for watering. Press "OK" to confirm.
- Set How Long (Duration): Rotate the dial to "HOW LONG". Use the "+" or "-" buttons to set the watering duration (from 1 minute to 360 minutes). Press "OK" to confirm.
- Set How Often (Frequency): Rotate the dial to "HOW OFTEN". Use the "+" or "-" buttons to set the watering frequency (every 1 hour, 3 hours, 6 hours, 12 hours, or daily up to every 30 days). Press "OK" to confirm.
- Activate Schedule: Once all settings are configured for a zone, rotate the dial to "ON" to activate the automatic watering schedule.

3. Manual Watering Mode
You can manually water your plants at any time without affecting the preset watering schedule. The watering time can be adjusted from 1 minute to 360 minutes.
- Rotate the dial to "ON".
- Press the "MANUAL" button.
- Use the "+" or "-" buttons to set the desired manual watering duration (1-360 minutes).
- Press "OK" to start manual watering. The timer will automatically stop after the set duration.

4. Rain Delay Mode
The rain delay mode allows you to pause your irrigation schedule for 1-15 days, preventing overwatering and saving water on rainy days. Note: This timer does not have a built-in rain sensor; you should postpone your watering schedule based on local weather forecasts.
- Rotate the dial to "ON".
- Long-press the "DELAY +" button.
- Use the "+" or "-" buttons to select the desired delay duration (1-15 days).
- Press "OK" to activate the rain delay. The timer will resume its programmed schedule after the delay period.

- No Water Flow:
- Check if the faucet is fully open.
- Ensure batteries are installed correctly and are not depleted.
- Clean the metal filter for any blockages.
- Verify that a watering schedule is active or manual mode is engaged.
- Leaking from Connection:
- Ensure the timer is tightly screwed onto the faucet.
- Check if the sealing washers are correctly seated and not damaged.
- Reapply thread sealing tape if necessary.
- Timer Not Responding:
- Replace batteries with fresh ones.
- Ensure the dial is set to a valid position (not between settings).
