1. Introduction

Welcome to the user manual for your Veidoo S10 Android 15 Tablet. This guide provides essential information on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting your device. Please read this manual thoroughly to ensure optimal performance and longevity of your tablet.

3. Device Layout

Familiarize yourself with the physical features and ports of your Veidoo S10 tablet.

  • Headphone Jack: Connect 3.5mm audio devices.
  • Rear Camera: For taking photos and videos.
  • SD Card Slot: Insert a Micro SD card for expanded storage (up to 512GB).
  • Type-C Port: For charging and data transfer.
  • Speakers: Audio output.
  • Front Camera: For video calls and selfies.
  • Power ON/OFF Button: Press and hold to power on/off or restart. Press briefly to sleep/wake.
  • Volume +/- Buttons: Adjust the device volume.

4. Initial Setup

4.1. Charging the Tablet

Before first use, fully charge your tablet. Connect the Type-C cable to the tablet's Type-C port and the power adapter to a wall outlet.

  • The battery indicator on the screen will show charging status.
  • A full charge typically takes several hours.

4.2. Powering On/Off

  1. To Power On: Press and hold the Power ON/OFF button until the Veidoo logo appears.
  2. To Power Off: Press and hold the Power ON/OFF button, then select "Power off" from the options on the screen.
  3. To Restart: Press and hold the Power ON/OFF button, then select "Restart" from the options.
  4. Sleep/Wake: Briefly press the Power ON/OFF button to put the tablet to sleep or wake it up.

4.3. Initial Configuration

Upon first power-on, follow the on-screen prompts to set up your Android 15 tablet:

  • Select your language.
  • Connect to a Wi-Fi network.
  • Sign in with your Google account or create a new one.
  • Set up screen lock (PIN, pattern, password, or Face Recognition).
  • Review and accept terms and conditions.

5. Operating Your Tablet

5.1. Basic Navigation

  • Touch: Tap an icon to open an app or select an item.
  • Swipe: Drag your finger across the screen to scroll through pages or content.
  • Pinch-to-Zoom: Place two fingers on the screen and move them apart or together to zoom in or out.
  • Home Screen: Tap the Home button (usually a circle or house icon) to return to the main screen.
  • Recent Apps: Tap the Recent Apps button (usually a square icon) to view and switch between recently used applications.

5.2. Wi-Fi Connection

To connect to a Wi-Fi network:

  1. Go to Settings > Network & internet > Wi-Fi.
  2. Toggle Wi-Fi On.
  3. Select your desired network from the list.
  4. Enter the password if prompted, then tap Connect.

5.3. Face Recognition

The tablet supports face recognition for unlocking. To set it up:

  1. Go to Settings > Security & privacy > Face unlock.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to register your face.
  3. Ensure good lighting and hold the tablet at eye level during registration.

Note: Face recognition provides convenience but may not be as secure as a strong PIN or password for sensitive data.

5.4. Storage Management

Your tablet comes with 64GB of internal storage and supports up to 512GB Micro SD card expansion.

  • To insert a Micro SD card: Locate the SD card slot (refer to Figure 3.1) and gently insert the card until it clicks into place.
  • To manage storage: Go to Settings > Storage to view usage and free up space.

5.5. Camera Usage

The tablet features a 2MP front camera and a 5MP rear camera.

  1. Open the Camera app.
  2. Tap the camera icon to switch between front and rear cameras.
  3. Tap the shutter button to take a photo or start/stop video recording.

5.6. Eye Protection Mode

To reduce eye strain, especially during prolonged use, activate Eye Protection Mode:

  1. Swipe down from the top of the screen to open the Quick Settings panel.
  2. Look for an icon resembling an eye or "Eye Protection" and tap it to toggle the mode on/off.
  3. Alternatively, navigate to Settings > Display > Eye Comfort Shield (or similar) to configure settings.

6. Maintenance

6.1. Cleaning the Tablet

  • Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the screen and body.
  • For stubborn smudges, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen cleaner.
  • Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive materials, or excessive moisture.

6.2. Software Updates

Regularly check for and install software updates to ensure your tablet has the latest features, security patches, and performance improvements.

  1. Go to Settings > System > System update.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to check for and install available updates.
  3. Ensure your tablet is sufficiently charged or connected to a power source during updates.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your tablet, refer to the following common solutions:
